The war with the Kusari have gone to such a degree that we need to understand that the armed forces alone, can no longer take all the curden of defending this country.

We have lost Parts of our nation to the foul Kusari!

Leeds is in constant conflict, we have lost Stokes to their military!

We have Tau 31 to retake, and at the same time, the Mollies and Gaians are on our doorsteps!

Not to mention the Bucaneers and Corsairs, all of these are up to our Armed forces to handle, but no more!

NO!

I now ask all of the able citizens of Bretonia to get in their ships, grab your rifles, and fly out and help our Nation!

This is a time of war, and we as it's citizens must stand up and be accounted for!

The Bretonian Citizens Army is as the name implies, a citizens militia, organized into a paramilitary force, they are under the command of the Armed Forces, but mainly they are to be a self controlling military body of Bretonia, able to fly where the Armed Forces can't, do what the Armed forces aren't allowed to do, and to fight as the Armed forces do.

It's main staging ground is to be Bretonia, and all of it's neighboring systems.

The whole idea behind the Militia is to take up the slack after the armed forces, handle internal threats, such as the Molly Republic and Gaians.

Not only that, but while in Bretonia the Militia will safeguard all Bretonian and allied transports going trough Bretonia, that includes escort services for the Bowex, BMM, Gateway Shipping and Planetform Inc..

The Militia are to work in unison with the Armed Forces, if a order is given to any of the Militia, they are to comply and assist or obey that order, we are after all under the Crown.

Privateer ID is pirates that work for the crown, this is a Citizens army.

And the QCP, weren't those exiled from Bretonia?

Can trade and escort Bretonian or Liberty traders
Can demand credits or cargo from any factions that are not lawful Bretonian factions
Can hunt pirates and terrorists within their Zone of Influence except Golden Chrysanthemums
Can fulfil bounty contracts
Cannot enter Rheinland, Liberty, Gallia or the Omicron and Sigma systems
Cannot ally with anyone except with Bretonian lawfuls or Golden Chrysanthemums
Cannot use any transports with more than 4,300 cargo
Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Gunboats, Transports, Shire

This could work, but would limit the ZOI for the Militia and wouldn't really be a militia...

Can demand any non-house police or non-house military ships to drop any contraband
Can hunt pirates and terrorists anywhere in Sirius except for the Omicron systems
Cannot use ANY unlawful equipment or weapons (including Nomad weapons)
Cannot ally with anyone except other Vigilantes
Cannot attack any lawful police or lawful military except in self defense
Cannot demand credits
Cannot trade or escort traders
Cannot fulfill bounty contracts
Can only land on Bounty Hunter, Zoner, IMG, Neutral, and Freelancer bases
Allowed ships: Fighters, and Freighters
Carrying unmounted IDs in your ship, as well as not equipping an ID, is a serious crime. Vigilantes are often considered to be unlawful and may be engaged by the lawful house police and house military. Players using the Vigilante ID MUST have a lawful tag/IFF and their equipment and area of operation must also reflect their tag.

I would suggest this ID, but as shown in Bold, and underlined. Roleplay wise, this ID would work wonders, you just -can't- be the first to engage.

Aye, I was thinking that as well, but alas, we aren't Vigilantes, we are still part of the Army.. Meh, but we could use this as well, just don't think it would fit to well with the idea of the group.

Hmm, so Freelancer/Mercenary/Vigilante/Privateer ID's.. Which one.. Gaah.

Freelancer ID, since you're in this situation, would allow you take Bounties against the Kusari Naval Forces in Bretonia and Tau regions of space, which would mean you can open fire, under the justification of taking a Bretonian Government paid Bounty.

That sums it up nicely, theyl be freelancers.

Theyl use the Bounties provided by the government to justify their attacks on Kusari and pirate forces.

Question is, should we perhaps use BAF IFF??

Edit: Let me explain, a freelancer IFF wouldnt give the right feeling when detecting us in Bretonia, it would cause confusion, instead if we use the BAF IFF, wel be showing that we are indeed a Militia/army of Bretonia, and the Freelancer ID to show we are not the "real" BAF..:)
