Sarcasm becomes you.

But seriously Zelot, me hitting anything on purpose is a farking miracle at the best of times. Relax, take your licks... I had heard you guys Pwned the BAF before all this went down. So you got away from the BAF AND from the SCRA and all it cost you was what... some shield batts, and maybe one slight detour into Omega-3?

Come on... really mate. You guys sell yourselves short, you're rock hard. Show some pride.

Unfortunately, the set of events that that I saw unfold before myself in the mafic I was pilotting is completely different to the set that you have quoted arvg.

Firstly, you were disrupting us. Fair enough.
Secondly, the BAF attacked the armourless Ryuujin, to which I replied with a supernova.
Thirdly, I turned around and found Zelot's Kamome under fire by SCRA ships, to which I again replied with a supernova.

At no point did my shield drop, suggesting that either you were actually pulsing a transports shields on purpose, or your aim is that of an organism from the kingdom protista.

I for one, was actually completely reactionary in that battle which you forced.

I also resent you telling Zelot to stop whining when you actually broke the terms of your ID. You're completely remorseless about it and, frankly, any kind of RP justification that you can pull out of your ass is nothing compared to the rules to which you are bound every time you log on and play on the server.

As much as you might not like it, Rules>RP. There is no distinction between corporations and civilians in the rules, and hence rules cannot be broken if you choose to make a distinction inRP.

It really is that bad mate... trust me

me hitting anything when shooting starts takes a miracle. Screen jutters about like a drunken monkey on crack rock cocaine...

Now then, I know what I saw, I know my intent.

We ARE not allied to the Mollies at this time. Not in a PVP sense, none of our ships have flown alongside them, none of them have fought with them. So don't throw the ID issue out at me being "Above" an RP issue.

I know the BAF arrived, I did not see who fired the first shot. I do however know when I fired and what I was aiming at. I also know I dropped something's shields with a triple Pulse, but it was not the Mafic I was aiming at.

Again I have already apologized for that.

Faction feedbacks are difficult at best, because the only real time someone posts something substantial other than "you guys are great" are when you have a complaint, genuine or not. It's libel to raise the dander of those in command of said faction when their RP is attacked. I'm sure it's that way for you, it's the same for us. It's also not right.

The SCRA has started to open diplomatic ties to the Mollies in their effort to win freedom from the Bretonian government. In this pact, the gold rush, as it were, of people stealing our new-found comrade's livelihoods has brought the SCRA's military to try and put a stop to it. We're still trying new things with the roleplay and there are some bumps in the road.

One of these bumps is the apparent restrictions placed upon our ID. Our woefully inadequate, embarrassingly out of date ID. But, in this case, the faction ID says it all "In Coalition, faction ID rules get you". It certainly did this time.

So, to the events of this evening. Now, from my perspective, the SCRA boys saw a bunch of Samura transports full of gold ore. Molly Gold ore. So we started CDing the transports to discuss some of the finer points of trading in said ore. Things degenerated quickly, and SNACs were launched. I'm not going to say I "accidentally" stripped the shields, I did not. I deliberately started in on the transports who, in my character's view, were disobeying orders. I was attacked, and changed my target from the Ryujin to the Garanchou (i think) that was attacking me, and was SNAC'd by Conner's Mafic (dam nice shot, didn't even see it coming!)

As to the BAF there...well, that wasn't our doing. They blew past us in Leeds on the tradelane as we made our way to the Cambridge Jumphole from Magellan, and we threw taunts at them on our way through. Honestly, I personally thought they were coming after us and happened upon you, choosing the Samura transports over the SCRA "terrorists" as their targets. There was definitely no coordination between the BAF and SCRA, that you can bank on.

So. Now here we are. The SCRA ID has been a sticking point the last few sessions out, and will be discussed and hopefully changed very soon. Sorry we let the RP of our characters and faction get ahead of our ID and the rules. Roleplay vs Fairplay vs Ruleplay I guess.

Thank you for an honest, reasonable response Chris, Cheers.

cmfalconer has the right idea.

I think a few punches have been thrown and a few hairdos ruffled, but the end result is that neither party is happy about what has happened. I readily suggest that we put this incident behind us and attempt to get sleep so we can take advantage of the upcoming weekend. That goes for McNeo too, even though he has become nocturnal.

All I can suggest is what I recommended in my last post.

Make an announcement if you're going to do something that your ID would normally restrict, and get admin approval for it. From what I saw here, this could have easily been done, since then RP itself makes great sense.

It just wasn't done.

Pierre,

Will you remake Sitting Bear already!

Please?

As for the ID, it's tough to get the HC together b/c we're literally all about 4-6hrs GMT away from each other. 2-3 of us at a time are online, so command decisions take time. The ID is a command decision. We're working on it.

Sitting Bear is banned from server until further notice(no, I didn't do anything bad)... so, it might be awhile. But when he returns, Sitting Bear will look forward to a ship he can actually fit in.

And yeah, stuff like that does take time.

Good luck with everything.

Besides, you or anyone not explained the "awesome RP" your pilots do around Alpha **laughs very out loud**...

Why in the blue hell, i would move to omegas to fight you boys??( i dont need to to cross half Sirius just to get some atention...)
even if its hard for me to say it, i know a few corsair pilots that know a lot more about clean fights, and best of all, are not cowards...

I can understand the need for atention, really i do, but the "scenes" i have seen around Alpha, well..., really i prefer those lolwutts in gunships or the lolwutts in Stortas that attack tranports...

Alright De Cruz, you're turn.

Our RP and our missions we give our subordinates is no business of yours. But since it's unclear to you, I'll give you a little explanation.

The Coalition came on the Hispania, sabotaging that "fine" piece of equipment. Coalition pilots can trace their roots back there. They want to see a piece of their history in Sirius.

Now, a lone pilot making the pilgrimage back to the Hispania writes his name in the hull (fires a round), then makes it back to Coalition space, wins the adulations of his fellows and a campaign ribbon, usually the first a pilot wins.

Why, on this or any other earth, would a lone pilot fight the Maltese Navy? Even if asked to single combat, the Coaliton pilot's main goal is to get back to Coalition space. If they can sling a few barbs at the drug-peddlers in Malta, all the better.

Docking on the Freeport isn't looked highly upon, however, and the pilot will be talked to. PM me the name of the pilot, along with any SS you may have (not here, it will be deleted), we will make sure things are straightened out.
