What are the vital differences between the capital thruster and the enhanced thruster? Does a capital ship get a particular benefit from using the capital thruster as a opposed to the enhanced thruster?
The capital one has a lot more hitpoints.
Btw, when you destroy someone's thruster with missiles/torpedos/mines, he can't use his afterburn, and will die very quickly if he's in a bomber or fighter.
The advanced one drains a bit less, though.
In my opinion, fighters and bombers should be forbidden from mounting cap thrusters.. but some people do it to have an advantage.

I would think you would want to destroy the thruster first, or maybe shield, My priority would be thruster, just imagine going 90 in a fighter and getting SN'ed ahaha
but some battlecuisers, cruisers, destroyers, gunboats - a gunboat without a thruster is as dead as a fighter without one.
i know that gunboat players hardly consider themselves part of the "capital ship faction" - but gunboats are capships. - in a way... those supertransports are capital ships, too... and for them, a capship thruster has its values.
anyway - a capship thruster survives more damage than the ship - most probably.
I think it's because capital ships have bigger hitboxes for the thruster or something, which would make them insanely easy to blow off if it had the same hitpoints as an advanced.
