I feel that I owe the Battleship Terror group an apology. Ive thought a bit about whats been going on tonight, and Ive come to the conclusion that Im as bad as they are.

Ive accused them of forcing their way of playing onto me, but Ive been equally bad in trying to force my way of playing onto them.

For this I apologize

I realize that we should all be able to play our own game on this server. I have therefore tried to make some Rules of Engagement that Ill be posting in a moment. Could you please have a look at these?

The FL universe doesn't go on forever, you know. You'll have explored every single bit by the end of the week. As for battleship dueling, some battleships aren't affected my missiles. You can kiss fair fights good bye. =/

By the way, you needn't apologise for playing onto us. My reaction was ten times worse when I came across the idea of "legal piracy" in the Nightmare Evo server.

A couple of things.... Frist this whole thing was my idea spur of the moment, to spice things up. Second, we the battleship terrors have been giving out starting money to new players when we see them if they want it (I give enough for a humpback and full cargoload+nano's etc).

For our Blockade, all armored transports will not be affected. You are too small to worry about taxing.

Why do pirates like to be friends with liberty police? Because the Rheinland battleship is an utter chore to move absolutely anywhere (tradelane sometimes, jumpgate sometimes). Also, didn't you play the single player? Liberty police are bad people. Plus it's much more sneaky if you think we're friendly before we shoot you. Besides myself personally I'm quite friendly but I am a pirate.

Not that it is a big deal but I used to have a strategy on how to get everyone but 3 groups green/white to my character; two of the remaning hostiles are the Xeno's and mollys. I don't remember how in part because it made the universe boring. Also I don't really want to rush over and re-faction 5 characters. Yes I have 5 in 5 different ships, 1 fighter, 2 battleships, 1 gunboat, and a freighter. I posted our names so you know who to watch out for.

Basically I'd like to see the traders bunch up for safety. I'd like to see them hire fighter protection. I'd like someone to organize against us, The Battleship Terrors. In the meantime, you've been warned.

Capital ships can't chase you if you hit cruise.... however some will blow you to bits before you can try it. As Denier pointed out, many vessels have semi or total missile immunity, this includes cruise disruption.

My goal was never to make people leave discovery. On the other hand if we all just float around the galaxy safe and nice there's really not much to do.

Ive talked with xit today, and we decided that getting a few ships to help in the fight against the Battleship Terror Group would be fun

Now, If I can just survive for long enough to earn that kind of money

You see? with no reason to ally together no one did except the pirates. Now you have a purpose, and we have a continued purpose as well. That was my intent, not just to create strife.... (except of course in a friendly controlled enviornment... not hit the wall, kick the dog, etc, due to frustration.)
