Symposium - Zoner (Civilian) Armed Transport

Got my hands on google's Sketch Up today and made my first attempt of a vessel.

Ideas behind it:

• An armed transport for the rougher parts of the Border and Edge Worlds
  
• 8-10 guns ontop of the 'tower'-like structures like the Fearless has
  
• Maybe just about 3'800 cargo to fit with the vanilla Zoner ID
  
• Civilian, as in Zoners would sell it to anyone with the cash.
  
• Cargopods shielded by armor wings which can be folded back to allow fast exchange of gargo
  
• a frontal part similar to the whale to shove aside asteroids (is missing)
  
• engines similar to the conference (missing)
  

So far the whole thing is too... bulky for my taste... definitely to wide.


Anyway... Feedback and ideas are welcome :cool:

Looks interesting. Might be too wide for lanes if its big enough.
Maybe a smaller fast transport? It can even look like a small passenger liner, you know a big bus.

Hum... I'm trying to make it about as wide as the ZBT... Still needs a front and an aft section.

Anyway, I've removed the middle part to replace it with something more fitting to the cargopods and the armor wings shielding them

Had an idea for the engine part... still need to make it look more Zonerish... but the two reactor barrels seem like I'm onto something :yahoo:

This should replace the BWT.
The scale on the current BWT way off, it doesn't look anywhere near its size. It looks like it should be a freighter, actually.

This looks like a good replacement for the BWT (with some work) because it definitely has spaces for cargo and a telltale scale.

Well thy not... but regardless of how good I get the model...
I haven't got the faintest idea how to get it into FL :crazy:
