Well IMG are pretty much restricted to the Taus, Dublin and a couple Omegas. We want to be a faction that can mine anything any time. Depending on what the demand is.

Actually one thing I see this as is providing corporations with some RP chances... Mostly RP is like the LN or the BHG, you don't really see Kishero having much chance to RP in a great big long thing of RP... SO. The ZoE aim to contact and contract Corporations for Raw Materials. All the while RPing like Crazy...

No really, the Juggernaut is known to be a "mobile Freeport" so... why not re-outfit one to be a mobile-when-needed office. The Klondike is not going to move from Shasta Orbital Skyhook unless its extremely necessary... like if Baffin is invaded by Nomads... then we'd hightail it outta there.

Here at ZoE we recognize that Piracy is a very real thing and a very real thing that cuts down profits. Now, while we do employ Escort pilots as protection, we prefer to resolve matters in a businessman like way. Allow me to demonstrate.
You stumble across a trader and ask him for credits. He pays you and then leaves. You got your credits, he kept his ship and cargo. You’re both “happy.” What would you say to a deal that involved more than credits? How would you like an information exchange as well? This is what we at ZoE aim to accomplish. If you stop one of our transports, we’ll offer you one million Sirius standard credits once a day as well as information on the locations of any lawfuls we pass by. So, the first time you stop one of us, you get 1 million credits, and then so long as you continue pirating for the day, we’ll feed information we come across to you. If you stop us a second time, you let us go on through. We won’t call the police on you as most traders would, instead we’ll tell you where the police are.

As he said... We do not overharvest... Right now we're moving, or about to be moving, off of Gold Ore and into Iridium, we've mined enough Gold for now, so we'll leave it alone and let it regenerate (?)... We're heading to the virtually untapped Iridium Fields in the NTF's jurisdiction, with their permission of course. Then once we've harvested enough of that, we'll move on to... say copper, or cobalt, or diamonds, we aren't really sure right now.
EDIT: If anybody sees a goof-up with the color codes in the first post, point it out. I think I got them all but its hard to tell...

I haven't heard anything negative about ZoE, so I was a bit disappointed seeing this.
Supposedly he was speaking with a friend of his and mistakenly PM'ed it to me instead.
The disappointing bit is that this was after around 10-15 minutes of roleplay.
I had only requested five million at the start giving good reason to why I'd demand so high an amount.
That was, through RP, reduced to a three million request.
In the end, a deal was reached for the drones to mine a sum total of 600 Iridium.
The transport chose to give an extra 250 Iridium.
Yes sir or madaam as it may be I also replied with apology lolwut was not a proper term after further thought. Rather I was angry and dissappointed after you wished so much after I attempted so kindly to meet your demands. Yes your demand was in reason and I can agree that but as it lay at that moment I made many attempts to explain that we are on good terms with the Hackers and pay and work well with them. Sorry for any insult to you but I must state it was meant for a private close friend and would not have been taking so strongly as an insult or that I intended to call you a true lolwut. A bump in the road I hope our paths in the future can be in a happier occassion as I believe all got stressed in the matter.
PS:Also the rp was quite fun until you basically felt insulted after I agreed to meet your demands and then got accused of contacting said BH in the post. As you later as you noticed I did not contact that gentlemen
Currently we are planning discussions with them on the matter. Currently we are mining in authorized areas that we pay for. We have listed the places we mine. We will of course share all profits with the Faction in which owns the field via a nice contract and conversation if they wish us not to mine there we will gladly agree with there wishes after conversation is made.

Take note the use of "Request" over "Demand".
If you "requested" something at gunpoint isn't that more of a "Demand"?
Now to clear up the entire matter from my point of view. More specifically, Claroke Goldenton's more or less in-rp point of view.
Actually as the transport I planned to hurry it along and make up the difference with the 250 Iridium. Anyhow It was quite good RP inspite of the whole Indifference to Hacker Command. Just an hour earlier I voluntarily Donate 2 million to two Hackers that were talking about "Starving Hacker Children," as I moved our satellite office, Cape Hope, out to Kansas. Claroke Goldenton saw this as a Noble Cause, so he didn't mind spending two million credits if it helped out our Friends in the Lane Hackers.
Now, we start really mining and along come yourself, yet another Hacker who seemed quite disinterested in our current standings with the faction you flew the colors of. This firstly shocked Claroke Goldenton because we seemed to understand that the Lane Hackers and ZoE were acquaintances on good terms at very least. We also understood that the Lane Hackers primarily chose targets that would harm their archenemies, IC and Agiera Tech. And since the Iridium being mined was going to Bowex, and at a nice price too, we didn't think this would draw any flak from the Hackers.
We simply would not concede to 5 Million, even to a noble cause. That's 1/3 of our profits per run. We divy up sales so that half goes to the bank, 5% goes to the NTF as per our agreement, and half goes to the miner and transport involved. As you can see, this third would really mess things up.
Our standard procedure is to offer a deal, or at most offer 2 million Credits. A Friend overheard us talking about you and decided to head down and cut you off with his Bounty Hunter. This would be who the message you heard was targeted at. I was quite unaware of this message but I believe that MT cleared it up for you. As another standard procedure, we know that unlawfuls tend to... react badly when lawfuls show up, and so if you read our message directed to "Those of questionable legality" we tend to assist those whom we can. We are Zoners, Zoners are neutral and so if you scratch our back, we'll scratch yours. I warned you that a bounty hunter was on his way down to intercept you hoping to speed things up and maybe encourage you to take our offer of 2 million and leave.
Since you still seemed disinterested in this, we offered to mine some amount of iridium for you. I forget how much but seeing that it was taking longer than it should, I decided to transfer the remainder from my hold to yours. Then I was taken aback that you continued to tractor in iridium past the quota agreed upon. To Claroke Goldenton that was breaking an agreement. Even though it was a reluctant agreement. This made him/me even more mad. Now you did say it was compensation for the "insult" that you felt you received from Eric Goldsteen but that wasn't good enough for Claroke.
But he/I/we decided to report yourself and the incident to the Lane Hackers as we had agreed to do in case such an event presented itself rather than order the two SNAC armed Drones sitting next to my transport to commence resource defense protocalls, which I graciously lowered to allow you to approach in the beginning of our encounter, hoping for a friendly chat with a Hacker Friend such as we enjoy with Mr. Sanguinetti from time to time.
Anyhow, we'll not be letting such an encounter repeat itself, our Security arm has stepped up and we've settled matters with Hacker command. And it really was quite enjoyable, if frustrating, RP.

You're getting ahead of us my friend. As we've stated, we don't plan to steal anything from anyone. When we started, we mined Gold because it was there and we were a small enough organization to go unnoticed. We also kept to the "Independent Gold Fields" (sure sure, those are the ones with the biggest bonus and BMM and IMG mine there too... but it still says independent). When Silver struck, we moved there, It was closest to a Zoner Base so we had no problems. Then it dried up. We hit Gold again for a while, but we were still only three people. Soon we hammered out our deals with the Hackers and NTF so we mined away in Kansas. We're still happily mining in Kansas but we're considering expanding. I can guarantee you that wherever we go next it will not be before long Forum RP and meticulously planned contracts with the "locals."
We have prospected but not mined deeply most of the fields in the Taus and Omegas. If we intended to not go through due processes, we could sneak in under cover of timezone and mine to our heart's content in the BMM and IMG fields in T-23. But we refrain from doing so because we want to RP. Our goal in this whole thing is to provide another chance for Corporations to RP. We'll be stepping that back up in the near future. We've got some potentials with Cryer, BMM, IMG, and others brewing. We might even be contacting Kusari corporations advertising those "hard to get" materials that can only be mined in places outside of Kusari. (Like Iridium for example...) I'd hope that corporation factions leap at the chance to do some different RPing...
Good Feedback thus far. If it was all good then we must be hiding something right? Keep complaints and all that coming.
Currently we're about 30% of the way to 500 Million for Official Faction Status request. Its one of our goals to get there based solely (or atleast mostly solely) on our mining operations.
