I don't know what to say at that.

I do believe that it started as KNF-CR issue until it got Emperor's attention and he decided to make it Kusari vs CR since.. well.. that's what the emperor and council are there.

As for the "distress" call, I guess stories are different.
Kusari is pretty rule strict and conservative nation. I know everyone believes they can just take a gang and have some good clean fun, but Kusari is kinda different.

yes it's pain in the glutteus sometimes, but seriously... it's enjoyable once you get into it all.

Ah, okay, Zel, I didn't know about that conversation so my comment was out of place. Panz does get a bit personal about things, I'll admit that to you, but trust me, noone's got a grudge about you because of you. And I wasn't there, I don't really know what happened 100%, only what I've been told. I realize this sounds stupid, but I wanna make it clear that I didn't lie, because I don't really have any reason to do so.
As a politican I dislike immensely would say, "I didn't lie, I merely didn't tell the truth", meaning I didn't have the proper information.
Sorry for that.

And to add a bit to all this, I hope our mutual opinions of each other won't suffer 'cause of this sudden turn in our diplomacy in-RP. I value you guys, whether you're friends, neutral, or even enemies, which many people I am "enemies" with can attest to.

I am, however, sensing a bit of a sore attitude from both you, Zelot, and Panzer. It just seems to me like this is going to turn into something that's not good for anyone, so both of you, don't take anything said and done to heart.
If your post wasn't meant to be in such a hard tone, then sorry.
We are all men of reason and intelligence, from what I understand, so we shouldn't get into problems like this.

And Dieter, I don't know how Kusari decisions are dealt with rule-wise and such, as far as I know the Council of the Rising Suns (Leaders of Kusari factions) decide stuff and Zelot RPs the Emperor. I haven't been into RP diplomacy in a while so things might've changed or I don't remember them properly. Anywho, ask Zelot about it.
And, of course, I'm sure that if Lotek has anything new to bring to the equation, everyone will listen to him, including ourselves and the rest of the Kusari/KNF people. If anyone is of the opinion that his authority was being ignored or lessened, I don't think it is the case, or at least is intentional. I am, of course, speaking for myself only, because I am not a mind reader.
So yep, we can wait for Lotek to hear what's up and about if he hasn't already and then revisit the issue. Disco's not going anywhere and the change doesn't need to be immediate as it's not anything urgent.
I don't mind things either way, both states of affairs have their benefits and disadvantages.

Anyways, "don't worry, be happy".

Dieter, I see no issues with that. I was only courious anyway to what's actually going on around here, since it seems that pride got in a way of good relations.

But since Panzer said he got drawn into being allies with Kusari in the first place, I guess this thing was bound to happen

Well, technically, he might've got drawn into it, but the faction didn't. I was expressly -for- the alliance because the RP concept of it appealed to me and it seemed practical and logical.
The only thing that jeopardizes the alliance, at least for me, are RP reasons - the fact that we'd look like a servile nation if we let the 'imperialistic diplomatic statements' slide, and the same goes for Kusari whose in-RP authority got jeopardized by our actions, which I also understand.

Bottom line, I know how both sides feel, and everyone should make the effort to know it as well, and we'd have much less problems, both in-RP and, most importantly, as a community of friends who play a game.

You know, if one side decides to end the alliance, there's nothing that the leader of the other side do... I guess that inRP, the KNF leader takes orders from the emperor so... the emperor has been involved and he will inform his admirals or whatever they are... Where's the problem? I can't see it...

Lo has not been around the last few days, and I have no problem waiting for him, but I dont know whats going to change about how things happened Dieter. Kusari is a sovereign nation, and the CR down wish to follow Kusari rules in Kusari, I dont know how Lo is going to be able to change that, aside from that it's clear from Panzers statements that the CR have wanted to get out of their alliance with the Kusari for some time, with that I am also not sure how Lo would change it. So lets wait for Lo to show up, and please an oorp request to the CR, lets keep out of Kusari till he does.

However, I'll support Panzer's decision because it's the right thing to do (support the leader of the faction, and unless the Quorum is against or he changes his mind after Lo's appearance, this will have to happen).

Doesnt really matter who supports it and who doesnt, as Panzer is the faction leader, and has been involved in both situations between the CR and Kusari. Seems he is pushing things in a particular way that doesnt allow for anything else but a break in the relations between the CR and Kusari.

I'm sorry, but isn't the CR the Colonial Republic? Meaning that if a leader's decisions aren't generally liked, wouldn't he would be voted out of office next term? So if all the leadership other than the President have an idea about something then it carries a lot of weight.

Just tossing some RP into the mix here.
