There's an ingame rumour about a special Bounty Hunter weapon that disables a ship and knocks out everyone aboard. Me wants.

I like the idea of specialist weapons. More suggestions please.

I'd like to see some special GMG Scanner, maybe longer range (like the battleship license scanner). As by ingame lore, GMG uses more sophisticated and advanced scanners to identify friends and foes in the Sigma clouds. Would be neat!

Oh yes, Council will mount these uber shields on all those class 10 shield hardpoints of theirs.

But the concept's good. Even though I would perhaps like "cool" stuff rather than "uber" stuff. Council, for one, already has rapetastic ships if anyone ever figures out how to slide... and the other stuff has ostensibly been balanced already (an argument we aren't getting into). Stuff to make people feel "special" without making everyone go ooRP to get them would be nice- especially when two factions share a shipline, like the Rogues/Mollies. Having the Rogues get a scanner that lets them see capital ships at a longer range while the Mollies get increased cargo drops from destroyed miners would be pretty cool.

Speaking of specializations, can we please get bomber guns of other colors? I really don't care statwise, but yellow looks... well, bad, on a lot of ships.

Why does X faction have X special equipment? I think X special equipment should belong to Y Faction. Z faction's special equipment is too strong, buff V faction's special equipment, because that's the faction I play and I think it's too weak.

Heheh, Alex, gotta read up on our GMG lore some more and see the overall picture of them. It's the largest, oldest and most consolidated of the three guilds even predating many of the Vanilla factions in Sirius. Our removal of Disco-added caps was based on the RP of them being ill-suited for our clouds and isn't reflective on the GMG's size. It's those sensor dampening clouds, however, that should be the focus of GMG technology. Either a sensor that helps us negate the sensor dampening effect or perhaps as Taro said something along the lines of what the BS liscence provides, suitable for those clouds and GMG's explorations and prospecting. Or if not that perhaps shielding better suited to protecting us from our explosive clouds.
A few more suggestions on my mind. BHG would benefit as well with a better scanner as you mentioned or even a much more effective CD (which is something to consider for House Police ID as well). On the flip side I wouldn't mind having more effective CMs for my Gaian or Maquis chars' getaway. You'll find that similar pieces of equipment are suitable for more then one faction.

Mollies need a special mine-launcher.
Of all the factions in Discovery, we're the most savvy with mines.
Having some special mine would be a very nice bit of icing on top of everything...
