Meh, we have slavers already. It ain't that far from it.
This also made me wonder, we keep yapping about how this game is played by children and therefore we can not swear yet we have slavers and rampant psychotic killers. Funny.

So bascially you're talking about role-playing like you're part of the Reavers from Firely.
"If they take the ship, they'll rape us to death, eat our flesh, and sew our skins into their clothing. And if we're very, very lucky, they'll do it in that order."

I'd personally never be able to do this. But I've interacted with a cannibal (In-game, not IRL).
It's too dark if you ask me, if I start thinking about it too much I sorta get that sick feelin'. IMAGINATION! HEEL BOY!
Besides that, if your cannibal meets me in space I'll have to overcome and balance out the darkness with sarcasm and humour... TEH LULZ, in Zelot's words.
And then of course I'll desert the ship and leave its AI :P. I blame Zelot for the cannibals.
I shall roll a character called Josef.Fritzel and I shall fly my slave liner around in the middle of nowhere. Nothing in the rules against it, plus I reckon I will enjoy RPing it. Epic LULZYNESS.
JK I won't because theres no profit to be had in it. I mean
COME ON this guy can RP as anything he wants. Does it affect anyone? So long as he doesn't go around pwning everyone he sees for some human flesh or make unrealistic 10miloryourflesh demands, its fine with me. If hes targeting slavers and taking say 100 units of slaves, I don't see the problem.
We all know the story behind the Corsair/Cannibal joke, but I think actually being a cannibal would have a tendency to be too freaky if done incorrectly, as illustrated by our wonderful Silverleaf here.
What might be humorous, and G-rated, is making a Pirate-IDed Luxury Yacht that tries to pirate transports for Luxury Food because the owner is a billionaire who recently lost his entire fortune and can't abide anything but the best food - which is a problem, since he has no money. The solution to his pampered palate? Piracy!
"Dear me... I simply must have some of that... delicious... caviar you are carrying..."
Corsairs now-a-days dont eat each other, when they did was hundreds of years ago, long before they ever ventured back into space. Now we have enough food coming from various sources (Zoners/Junkers/various Kusarians to name but a few) that the situation is nowhere near that drastic.
On the other hand, as pointed out, there is one Corsair (i have not met any others) who RPs various degrees of cannibalism, and that would be me, though it is not through hunger, but through ritual and ceremony, whereby when a victorious warrior captures (kills in-game, as we cant really 'capture' people) an enemy, said enemy is sacrificed to a certain god (most commonly Huitzilopochtli, Tlaloc, Huehueteotl or Tezcatlipoca) by various means, all of which involve being alive before and dead after. The body (or at least some of the flesh) of the sacrifice would be given to the warrior that captured him, to be boiled and eaten in ceremony, or a similar fate.
So yes, i have managed to tell my enemies many times that they will end up being captured, killed and eaten in honour of the gods, but a cannibal in the form of one who does so for the pleasure or taste of human flesh alone may be harder without disgust from a lot of people.
