128 player limit cracking

hi,

we invite everyone in the next days/ at the weekend to connect to the Hamburg City Server.
We are trying to hack the max. player limit and need some real circumstances run tests.
(slot limit will be 140)
If you experience weird bugs please report them here or at freelancerserver.de (especially if your id is higher than 128, check id with /id).

Of course I will release the hack to the public once testing is complete.

If you want to help in testing, log in during this weekend. Peak times at HC start at 7-8 PM GMT.

You can use this shortcut to get there:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -s89.106.85.118:2302

You don't need any mods there, just deactivate Discovery Mod and you should be able to fly around NY in a Starflier.
Remember, by helping HC you are also helping Discovery...

Hahah that would be brilliant if we all show up tagged like we did at the lancers reactor meeting and started to swarm the server with Discovery starfleas! Victory through numbers!

I just tested it with no mod activated and spent 15 mins in NY without getting kicked. I met trekster so I suppose he's already okay...

I'll be there on Friday...
