you'll make more money in your 5k transport then in a liner, you can get more guns on some transports then on a liner, and transports are a lot cheaper.
they're not meant to be used for trading really, except trading human cargo, they're all for RP.

unless you want to RP a holiday cruise captain/slaver/prison liner, stick with the transport, a liner will only make you a bigger target.

I own a Royal Liner (yep, the Red one).As far as I saw it, those ships are basically ment to carry Human Cargo (yeah I know, I`m Sherlock Holmes..).

I guess, the main difference is the Answer of this Question: More RP or more Credits?

Buying a liner is NOT about making the most money you can by owning a ship with the best stat, that's for powertraders and lolwutters, it's all about RP.

Having a liner is more like having an elevated status above transports, it's a luxury many don't have. It invokes more RP possibilities and makes your character rich and insightful.

exactly thats why i spend +200m on mine, a lot of rp, i so fun, but i still think that they must be upgraded a bit;)

I think they need to be upgraded. They were less restricted before, and hence they were nerfed from the state which you're suggesting now. Now that they're more restricted (and truthfully, trash,) they deserve a buff of SOME sort.

yes please, is no so hard to upgrade to level 8 an admin can do it in 15min if he want, i hope they do it soon.
