The Baffin Accords

As agreed to as a follow up to this http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=61328 , myself and doc holldiay have agreed to have an official Diplomatic meeting between the Consortium Overwatch and Zoner leaders.

Basic premise will be a meeting between Zoner Faction leaders and the Consortium to discuss trade restrictions/agreements/etc and de-escalate hostilities. The event, since it's intended as non-combat, won't require too much pre-planning.

Main thing is a list of attendance and establishment of a time. I was thinking this Saturday or (preferably) Sunday. Sometime between 19:00 and 24:00 GMT. If there's any problems though, I have no issues with moving it to the following Weekend.

I'd also like to ask members of the GC and Blood Dragons would attend as well to deal with issues such as territory/bases and inter-faction issues toward the Zoners.

This coming Saturday with that time frame will be OK for me. Sunday would be sketchy as most Sundays I am practicing with my theatre group. This Sunday I am not but I do like my time at night with the wife. The earlier the better.

Baffin will be a good meeting point just outside of Shasta. I will be present with my diplomatic ship, [TAZ]Ambassador's.Ark. I am open minded on this so I don't oppose the GC or Blood Dragons being present. I may have one request of them both as well.

If the ZoE is invited I'd prefer it to be on the following weekend, we've got a youth conference this weekend so I'd not be able to attend as Public Relations Chief. And since it's in Baffin we could use our Home Ship (juggy) the Klondike!

I myself am at GMT +8 so an earlier time frame on GMT would be better... like before 1600 so I'm not waiting around till 4-5 AM. I suppose that if I turn out to be a minority I can adjust and set an alarm clock but just keep that I might not be all that conscious at that time.

The More the Merrier. Esp since Baffin is all NFZ and we'll be in a Juggernaut in case someone tries any funny business. So by all means, invite the GC and BD.

I'll do my best to be there and if I can get the other two leaders to get there we'll really have it moving.

As I said before in the chat, due to time constraints, I may not be able to attend the conference, but I can certainly gear up some of the ZDF folks to act as security, in the case we get attacked in Baffin anyway.

Or In case some faction opposed to our settling things decides to raid the Accord. I suppose I can try to get our Security Chief to bring his big bad ship up too as a security escort for the ZoE. The Klondike is effectively useless for combat. But its a pretty darn big and imposing tin can with enough armor to dock in time when attacked.

Having time at Saturday will be very unlikely for me, at least not in the evening. Sunday would suit much better. In case Mr. Johann Boll or me have no time at this day to take part in the meeting, we will send some substitute to keep track of the negotiations.

Well, if we reschedule for next weekend, we'll all have more time to do some pre-planning and preppatory RP (especially on our end, involving GC/BD/CS).

Depends on what the majority think. This Sunday works as well, but we won't have as much lead-in time for it.

I vote Next weekend. More due to the fact that I'll be able to be there than that I need some prep time. Nevertheless we might come up with a nice surprise for all attendees.
