I'm with Tom on this one. I would never play a game that had this sort of feel to it. I never liked Arcade games or Runescape, and this along with the other fallouts has that feel to it. And he's right - it's not just the graphics. It's the gameplay that doesn't sit well for me.

I fail to see what's so "Arcade" about these games.

Yap mate i know that.I can't find my master.dat and critter.dat folders...That's why i am stuck.
And i have a feeling this game is extremely hard to play, but that's just the way i imagine post apocalyptic world, chaos, anarchy and the bigger/smarter always prevail.I have a really good feeling about this game...

I've played this game more then once, always kept returning to it, tracking the updates and so on. I'm tempted to return to it, maybe we should form a Disco team? We must defend our pvp-whore status!

I am noob and this game is really hard so i am definitely for teaming up!

And yeah guys it won't play any music!I pointed out to my F2 music folder, heck i even copied all F2 music folder to Fonline and there is no music ingame.
So far i encountered a couple patrols around Hub so i just step aside while Hub patrol deals with bad guys, then i loot, got meself desert eagle and one more gun that way.I didn't find brahmin poo job or any kind of work...

And yeah,What happens when i die?I lose all gear and items? Can i run back to my corpse and take everything back?

You been drinking? That "feel", called isometry, is pretty much how all classic and good RPGs look like. That's not some oblivion with guns. Granted, first person looks better, but it doesn't turn anything isometric into arcades.

As for music - trust me, mariner, you'd learn to hate it. They had music on TLA, it was nice in menu but super annoying in actual game. To know what i mean try raiding gamma with music on. It gets your attention away like a boss.

Oh and some new screens.

I've never liked the look of the old Fallouts. Look like Runescape. But if they weren't such bad games I would play them just to know more about the Fallout universe and the background of factions such as the Enclave and NCR.

I'm a little skeptical about how well a Fallout MMO would go. It doesn't really have the traits of a successful MMO. I mean, sure, you can even shimmy different races in there with Humans, Ghouls, and Super Mutants, but MMOs have terrible storytelling. Even MMOs which set out with storytelling in mind like Guild Wars fall somewhat short. It's really just a symptom of the old systems in which storytelling is done which conditions us that the story doesn't really matter, just go kill those 10 rats and come back. It would really be doing the Fallout universe a detriment to make that kind of game and I don't think Interplay is in any position to innovate at all.

I don't quite like the idea of a Fallout MMORPG ...especially one being developed by a Bulgarian studio..

Well, to keep the My Name is Earl trend going, this is my face whenever I play the old Fallouts and get ambushed by 5 Mantises that kill me:

It's really a game for another generation. Sure, you can explore so much on that 2D map and the story is really deep, but honestly I don't want to walk up to something and read "The computer is broken." anymore; I want to see a broken computer because we can present a clearly broken computer in this day and age. The engine just can't do that. For this reason, I prefer the new Fallouts. They're more fun to me because I grew up looking at broken computers rather than reading about them.

Playing the game and it is awesome! The hardest thing is to get 10 brahmin hides and first good weapon and armor. And fkrs my advice would be to apply for memberhip in some official gang.I'm in PK gang and ppl there are the best, always willing to help and very friendly. There are so much griefers, especially to the south, around Hub and Junktown so new players be careful when around these parts of the map.

Another advice. The best way to avoid the necessity to shoot back is shooting first.

That's the best advice ever. In this game, player vs player encounters will end up by killing anyway. Especially considering how PvP fights are short and brutal. A few bursts, one critical, and it's over. Shoot first, then loot, and ask questions later.

Some PvE :

The classy base a nice player gave us :
