A naked man in the middle of a field sits up and feels his face. Perhaps it was a dream? A nightmare? Another man, clothed and carrying a pitchfork runs through the field, suddenly recognizing the naked man.
Konnichiwa! Honorable Artisan! Why are you here in the middle of this ... vandalism?
Osaika peered around him at the downturned crops and the circular wall. If seen from higher up, the downturned crops took on a shape...
I ... I do not know. I need to find a communications device and signal my comrades.
Osaika tried to step forward, but soon found a pain in his behind.
Ow! What in the ancestors did they do. Osaika looked up They? Who're ... they? So ... fuzzy.
Moto limped away, away from the awstruck farmer who suddenly remembered that a bunch of his crops were suddenly crushed.
"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."

My first patrol with Ochi-san was certainly eventful. Kyushu was quite peaceful, no signs of gaijin initially, just two honourable Samura traders going about their business. This pleased us. We continued to Tau-23, to warn any gaijin there against bringing their dishonourable values and habits into Kusari. It went well, and we made our way back to Kyushu and on toward New Tokyo shortly afterwards. On our way back through Kyushu we caught one gaijin trader, who was happy to support to our cause on behalf of his employer after some gentle persuasion.
Onward then to Sigma-13 via New Tokyo and Honshu, where we stopped a Rheinland transport carrying a large amount of Diamonds towards Honshu. Naturally we told him that we did not appreciate the contributions of gaijin companies to the greed of the few in Kusari who would lead our youth astray, away from Kusari traditions for their own personal gain. He saw the error of his employer's (and their cronies) ways and decided to donate to our cause in an attempt to make ammends. Since he was just a worker trying to support his own family, we accepted his gesture and sent him on his way with a suitable story to tell his colleagues.
Not long after that we caught a gaijin Liner carrying cardamine, coming out of Kusari! It was no surprise that this scum would not heed our warnings to stop and explain themselves, as with many such dishonourable characters, they tried to sneak and run. We would not stand for this, cardamine brings nothing but impurity, misery, and suffering. There is quite enough of that already. In the end we had to take this smuggler down and destroy the orange plague he carried.
We then made our way back toward Planet Honshu, where we caught a Libertonian trader, coming from Okinawa. This gaijin had the audacity to openly admit he was supplying the GMG and Kishiro with supplies for the construction of the Sigma-19 gate in Okinawa! Not only that but he was also intent on taking a cargo hold full of Kusarian Plutonium beyond our borders to finance the gaijin behind the dilution of our traditions! The only thing that saved this trader was his ignorance of the consequences of his actions and his willingness to contribute to our cause.
Ochi-san then took me to Kamakura Base in Okinawa, where we met with some of our Hogosha friends and drank some sake.
Patroling today I came across a disturbing sight. A Smuggler bringing counterfeit software up from liberty into our sacred space! counterfeit software, disgusting .
He expressed constenation as to why we objected to his prescence.
I convinved him to Donate to our cause , and pass through kusari without leaving any of his evil trade behind. Hopefully we will not see him again

Konnichiwa.
I have had varied experiences over the past days. First, while patrolling Kyushu I ran into a strange vessel, the \CS\-Interceptor.Shield. I had not come across these... people in the past, and was of course curious. I spoke with the pilot for several minutes, trying to learn their intentions. They were vague, somewhat cryptic, but from what I gathered they appear to have some kind of grand plan to unite all humans for some common cause. I explained to the pilot that Kusari has internal issues to address first and foremost, and that I did not understand their reasons for wanting some galactic human alliance, or what the purpose of this would be. They would not clarify, but when queried further on the viability of establishing such an alliance due to obvious problems such as fueds between houses and age old wars, the pilot stated that his "Consortium" was developing technological biological enhancements which could aid the process if necessary. This was when I concluded that there was insanity behind their agenda. I chose not to engage the pilot, and we went our separate ways after some time.
On another occasion, I was joined in Shikoku by Ochi-san, where we monitored the trade lanes for gaijin activity. Naturally there was plenty, and we collected several contributions to our cause. Some were more cooperative than others initially, but we managed to persuade even the most uncooperative gaijin to contribute in the end without firing a single shot. In all cases, the traders ended up giving us more than we asked for. It is clear that while many do not have the patience or presence of mind in general to understand or sympathise with our cause, when we give them the time and information they need to see, it does not take long for them to see what is best for Kusari and thus themselves. We also ran into a Golden Chrysanthemum on that day, who was expecting us to open fire immediately it seemed. Her ship was heavily damaged from fighting several other vessels apparently, so we provided her with some repair kits and allowed her to proceed home. They do not seem to understand that we fight for all Kusarians to prosper, not just men.
The last activity I participated in involved a fellow AFA soldier and several KNF vessels. We recieved a report that the KNF required assistance dealing with several outcast ships in Kyushu. I joined up with them near the Tau-29 jump gate, where the ships were located and engaged following a directive to leave Kusari which was ignored. The outcasts were driven back into Tau-23 and retreated to their nearby base. While the operation was successful, I have little doubt that these gaijin criminals will be back.

Last Night we descended upon New Tokyo with a ferocity as yet unseen by the Gaijin.
Despite the efforts of a rouge KSP Officer, who is clearly being paid by the Gaijin, we managed to destroy 2 shipments of Sytnth Paste, aswell as a few unwilling vessels.
A most successfull evening.

I am just retuning from a fairly routine patrol. Only one catch of note. Repex 119. A train full of Stuttgart grown Synthfoods produced luxury food. How could this Gaijin fool bring this baka into Kusari? Well, I asked him to drop his cargo for destruction, but the fool, he tried to fly away instead, and of course, I had to pull apart his ship for that, once done with the ship, I was able to destroy the offending cargo.

Several [Alliance] tagged vessels were spotted earlier today in Kusarian space.
Despite initial theroies these vessels did not turn out to be Farmers Alliance ships, but a group of independant Rheinland based Traders attemting to supply some " Gallia"?
we don't know what "Gallia" is, BUT we do know its not Kusari .
If you encounter these vessels , treat them with the ultimate suspicion.
