Ok here's the deal, ever since I got this new monitor; ramped up the resolution the in-game text is much larger. I redownloaded the fonts but it still looks big; its very annoying and I miss my clean 1000x700-ish resolution...

Observe:

My native resolution is 1920 x 1080, there is a resolution command for FL, used it before but I can't find a good resolution. Got any ideas?

Are you using the -w for widescreen thingy?
screencap shows 800x600 if not using widecreen with native res the fonts will get squishy like that

Not using the -w, last time I tried it cocked up the graphics something fierce, but I'll try again. The photobucket won't allow anything bigger than 800x600 because they're at a limit.

EDIT: Here is what tends to happen:

This was tested with the following commands: -d1280x800 -w

I really lowered the resolution so I could move it about, but the menus get really distorted.

Once you undock the top menu will reapear everytime you dock after that as normal until you close the game
top menu not being there on first login to base is a bug we all have to deal with

I'm using the -dx command with the desktop resolution set in my monitor's native resolution.
But I think the fonts simply were not optimized for your desired resolution.

Ok just flew in space and the menus did restore, I assumed they wouldn't. Silly me. Now to run some more tests... I thank God the text went back to being small, the fat text was infuriating.
