Samura funded Luxury Liner Vacation!

Samura invites 100 KNF members, 100 KSP members, and 800 members of their company to enjoy the annual vacation offered by the Kusari Empire. As they do every year the contract PanGalactic to supply them with a Luxury Liner and several escorts. The Blood Dragons and Golden Chrysanthemums have decided to strike a great blow at the Empire and Samura. They bribe several of the escorts and employees of PanGalactic into telling the destination of the Liner and the security levels. The Liner despite the high risk travels to Sigma-19, where it is ambushed by an elite Blood Dragon force.The Luxury Liner is redirected to a rendezvous point with another force of Blood Dragons and Golden Chrysanthemums in Honshu near the Sigma-19 Jumphole. Meanwhile one of the passengers onboard the Luxury Liner notifies the KNF/KSP about the hijacking. By the time the KNF/KSP reach the Liner it is already at the rendezvous point with the fleet. An all out battle for the Liner commences, seeing as both sides have great things to gain and lose depending on the battles outcome. If the KNF/KSP capture the Liner then they not only retrieve the servants of the Empire, but they also capture the Golden Chrysanthemum and Blood Dragon agents on board. If the Joint Unlawful Fleet captures the Liner they get all of their agents back as well as members of the Empire to interrogate and sell to Bretonia.

Restrictions/Rules/Guidelines
1. Each Side is limited to 10 people, the Mercenaries are limited to 2 people.
2. Both sides can have one Cruiser, and one Gunboat, a Cruiser counts as 4 people, and a Gunboat as 2.
3. The Mercenaries escorting the Liner can be bribed, however once the battle begins they cannot change sides, no matter how much money is offered.
4. The selection for those participating in the event is on a first come first served basis; once all of the spots are filled there are no exceptions.
5. If the Liner is destroyed both sides lose, remember big things are at stake here for both sides.
6. Two spots are reserved for each side until 2 days prior to the event.
7. This event is restricted to the Official Factions only; the only exception is for the Mercenaries.

Summary of Events
1. Hijack occurs.
2. KSP/KNF respond, track down Liner.
3. Unlawful fleet engages Lawful fleet.
4. Dragons beat off Kusari.
4. Kusari beats off Dragons, must destroy the Liners thrusters and stop the Liner.

You need to talk to the GMG| leaders about this, as there's no way that the GMG would allow a full scale fleet engagement to take place in Sigma-19 without becoming involved somehow. The GMG's covert support for the Blood Dragons and animosity for Samura also makes this event tricky.

And then there's the whole treaty with Kusari, which would prohibit the Kusari Government forces from entering sovereign GMG space, even presumably to rescue a liner.

That's just off the top of my head.

I apologize but this must have accidentally gotten in the line of fire when I was shooting that "bretonia revolution" down the drain. Since I don't have global mod rights, however, I'm not able to put this event back into the place it belongs. I am looking for a global moderator right now to set this right.
