• I started my patrol by going by west point, and much to my surprise I encountered a slave ship and its escorts. Both ships refused to respond and opened fire on police vessels. I called for backup and SWAT officer Zanero responded quickly, and with his help both of the slavers were taken into custody. During the course of the battle a freelancer named Harrison Wolf demanded we pay him to assist, otherwise he would start working for the slavers. He fired off a few shots but quickly realized what a terrible mistake he made. I fined him 2 million credits on charges of slavery, since he did assist them briefly.
  
  
• Immediately after the slavers were dealt with a large battle broke out in Manhattan orbit. There were fighters all over the place, dozens of pirates. It seemed to go on forever, but eventually we finished them off.
  
  
• Not one hour after the fighting stopped another swarm of hackers and outcasts came into Manhattan orbit. We took many of them down, but more just kept coming. Hours went by of nonstop shooting, there was at least 30 pirates in total. Eventually we gained the upper hand and only a few were left. They decided to retreat.
  
  
• My shift wasn't quite over so I switched over to what I hoped would be a relaxing shift, watching California lanes for cardamine smugglers... An outcast came out of the lane at California minor, and didn't want to cooperate, so I took them in by force. I was tired but luckily my aim was just fine. If Cardamine ruins your... fertility, where are all these outcasts coming from!?

• Upon leaving California in my Havoc II I was ambushed by three pirates, one light fighter and two small heavy fighters. They refused to let me pass unharmed and demanded credits in exchange for my life. It seemed reasonable being that in a bomber I had no chance... Then I arrested them. (guncam images are self explanatory)
  
  
• Later in New York I helped a navy officer chase down a pirate bomber who was speeding. I also came across an unlicensed arms dealer. He paid 3 million for a valid license, so please take note and add him to the registered arms dealer's list. His name is Dr. Pepper

I too was in that battle. When I came out of the lane near Manhattan, the unlawfuls outnumbered us lawfuls by a 3 to 1 margin.

The coordination between the Liberty services was exemplary, with one small bump. Some low ranking Naval Officer tried chiding me for not accepting his comm call IN THE MIDDLE OF A BATTLE! My Mistake, I thought my trigger button was more important.

Unfortunately, very late into the battle a mine found it's way into my engine intake, with the most likely result. My pod took me to Manhattan, where I was able to watch the defeat of the Outcast / Hacker / VR group.

LPI forces engaged the Vegan Regime (Vagrant Raiders) along the West Point - California lane just now. First we took down two gunships, thanks to Captain Bauer's SWAT ship and some assistance from the Navy. Then there were five Raider fighter craft (three Sabres, two Bayonets) left. I ordered Bauer away since his bomber was an easy target to their fighters, and two Navy craft stepped out (one to watch and coordinate, one due to technical malfunction). We turned to the first Bayonet and fried him easily, despite him receiving additional nanobots from LaBrie. Then the first Navy ship fell, Elise Thomas. The rest is a mess, but long story short LaBrie managed to escape into the Badlands, the rest of the Raider ships were shot down, and one more Navy ship (the last one in an active combat role) was shot down.

Looks like the Chief pretty much covered the first engagment.

Later I responded to a call about yet another Hacker Gunship. Sensing a trend? I arrived to find Officers Kimbal and Zanero fighting the ship. Due to and excellent SNAC shot by Zanero the gunship was neutralized quickly.

Like the Chiefs report, i was among the fight, after the fight, i went back to Illinois for a refit of some armor, compliments from the LeavenWorth.

afterwords, i head back to Manhattan, when i noticed a hacker gunship trying to use the trade lanes. after the hacker tried to run, and several failed attempts to order it to cut its engines, we opened fire, until we got orders to let it go, for it was heading for a debris field.

but within 1 minute, the gunship came back to use the trade lanes, and after more failed attempted orders to stop, me, Kimble, and Maggard opened fire. he was not firing back, but i told them to weaken his shields so i could get a SNAC on him. well, it worked, and i managed to destroy him, and that puts a notch under my belt as my first ever gunship kill.

i did not get a Gun-cam shot of the kill, but Maggard has sent along his Gun-cam shot, so compliments to him.



Afterwords, i landed on Baltimore, and started on my report.
