My character's story is being told...slowly but surely...But with all due respect...could you not call my character starfox and Osilion's character Mrs. Panther please?

Since I've started RPing with Freelancer (back in the Excelcia days if anyone but me remembers that server) I've seen a LOT of strange and...rather odd roleplayers and different roleplay in general that really baffles me. I had one guy claming to be Gandalf from LOTR on Asgard and once someone claiming to be the Master Chief from Halo on EvolvedOnes.
What did I do? I roleplayed with them in their style of roleplay. Instead of coming to the forums to bitch and moan about something someone RPed as, how about you try and change gears and RP with them instead of being against them on the forums and creating bitter hate and grudges?
...or is that a concept that some people can't seem to grasp?

EDIT: I'll even throw out and example of my own RP here for you all to look at and compare. I have a total of 14 stories going in the stories forum. Each of them are different in their own right (with exception to the Retribution Chronicles which are all tied together). "The Tale of the Tyche" deals with time travel and "The Retribution Chronicles" deals with a heavily enhanced man with implants of alien creation. Two very very far sides of the spectrum. However, I'm still able to pull off both very easily and well. Why? I'm diverse. Try and be a little more diverse and aid the people in BUILDING their roleplay instead of trashing it at every chance you get. Doing so will only make them:
A. Hate you.
B. Leave Discovery. (Thus denying us the ability to create another legendary roleplayer)

Also: Sure, Fox. It was rather unpleasant of me. Although, in my defense, I have a character named "The Kinkajou", so I say it with love. Admittedly, no fur for him, but still.

But really I think all the furries would be much more accepted if they just pretended to be girls on the internet in order to garner attention. To the point of creating fake forum and skype profiles even.

To those of you Furries out there, I may not be the biggest fan of mixing Fantasy with Sci-Fi, but if you create a story that makes sense, and you successfully receive Roleplay on the server as such, just...ignore all these people who feel the need to complain OOC about it.
It's not like there's hundreds of you.
Though, try to keep it...you know, believable (i.e, no powerplaying out of death and whatnot, but I think I said that before)

Well in the end of the day people can RP what they want unless your an UBER LOLS to which people will most likely ignore you because its about the most fun of playing basketball with god in his own court.
