So far, I haven't seen any missions were you fight The Wild or the Nomads... Which is kind of odd.
Let's be honest, The Wild and the Nomads are, technically speaking, the enemy of everyone in the entire Sirius Sector. The Nomads even more than The Wild. Yet, there are no Missions for you where you can fight them?
It makes little sense... And I find it odd that players of these factions would whine about their NPC's being farmed, as suggested in another reply on this topic.
I did a lot of farming on singleplayer myself, just for the heck of it, so its not that preventing missions would simply erase the subject.
Besides, I don't think players of an Outcast Faction would whine about other players shooting Outcast NPC's down in Missions. :-P
Speaking of which, why are there no Rheinland Bases giving The Wild missions?
Okay, granted, technically they are all out in the Omega Systems but... Come on, if, according to the mod history, they tried an invasion once, what stops them from jumping into the system for raids?
I mean, the Bundschuh for instance doesn't have a base in the New Berlin System... Yet, that doesn't stop factions in New Berlin to offer missions against Bundschuh NPC's, does it? :-P
I consider this idea a good one, but missions against nomads should be even harder than against GRN, and trust me, the GRN missions are very awful... => You could not farm nomads when making missions since missions would have a difficulty ranking...
Have you ever fought a Wilde NPC? Even though in VHFs I swear they have the same hull as a high end GB. They are not easy to defeat in the slightest. Tougher then those Corsair Titans in the deep Omegas.
so you want to do missions for the nomads. shouldnt that like increase your rep with everyone but the nomads/wilde/outcasts?
and this was brought up several times before. ana rgument that was used that i remember the most:
"We can now strike the Nomads where they will feel it. One of their leaders Diego Alvara has bee ratted out by one of his men. We want you to get there, arrest him, tractor in his pod and return here with it."
Having The Order offer missions against the Nomads makes a lot more sense than having just missions against the bounty hunters and liberty, or does it not?
i mean, the order is supposed to keep on fighting the nomads in the first place.
right now, it's more like "meh, we're done with the nomads, we just keep on fighting bounty hunters and liberty now, so the nomads can roam, plot and scheme as much as they want."
after all, when you play a strategic game, you don't just stop your offense and patiently for your enemy to recover and build up enough forces to crush you again either now, do you? :-P

nobody is stoping you from constantly patroling kappa, delta and minor for npc patrols, if thats what you inted to do.
which brings me to another question - why do you want to kill npc's anyway? its not like nomad cruisers drop cards worth 500 000 or something. why do you want those missions?
oh yeah and if there are missions against nomads, i want the system to /fm all keepers ingame that someone is killing npc's on purpose that very moment.
But there could be abuse the way I see it. Since all alien factions are hostile to all human factions, if someone does enough of missions, and I mean lots, there's a chance that every human faction will become at least be neutral. Then again, the chances of this is very slim.
I wouldn't mind a challenge that puts me against Wilde/Nomad NPCs. I've fought Wilde Wraiths in a Wraith myself a long time ago over at the UK server and they are more than tough.

Doesn't work that way, the empathy is at zero. While the reputation between humans and Nomads is hostile, the zero empathy means that even if you kill as many Nomads as Jinx and Yoda put together your rep will not have changed in the slightest (other than the Nomads, Nomad Guard, and Wild being at -0.9 if they weren't already, as those factions -do- have empathy with each other).
