I just heard the Indiana Jones theme tune on TV, don't ask why. That got me thinking, Indiana + Artifacts + Rheinland = Nomad Boulder in a jumphole!
We could have a fun and politically incorrect event. No need for any serious restrictions. We need fun people. Here is my idea, and please note, I just thought this up 5 minutes ago and the rest is as I go. (As per usual).
Backstory - Mr Jones (if we must) came across planet Sarus (Is it Sarus? The on in SP that the ring blows up). He then remembered that some of his old archeological colleagues used to have a base down there, albeit covertly. The problem was actually getting down there in his ship. But, he found a way around the pesky atmosphere, in his hold he had a small atmospheric shuttle craft. It was specially modified with heat reflective gel that coated the ship and allowed it a quick re-entry.
Upon arrival he found the base that Sinclair used to run, but off course it was trashed. But he was able to find a bunker that was near intact inside one of the nearby caves, it seems that the granite shielded its signature. He went inside and found a large cache of artifacts, live ones. Thinking he could make fame and fortune (despite the ban), he stocked up as much as he could (after avoiding the security traps) and made his escape back to his freighter.
Lady luck does not smile upon our adventurer. A Rheinland Gunboat and fighter escort was in sight, there was no warning too. Typical Rheinland showboating and drama. Then all of a sudden the comms opened and the old "The Ride of the Valkyries" came onto the comms, where a seemingly high ranked officer came onto the screen, demanding the release of the artifacts.
What happens next? You guys decide:rolleyes:
Belligerents Rheinland/Wilde, Zoners (for purpose of Indiana Jones and co.), whoever we can think of
Well thats one of my ideas, I'm not going to post it into the events forum unless we have a solid story and support.
I just wanted to share my idea and pray that if this comes about, we can have fun.;)

Not a bad idea, Fletcher. Let's add some difficulty to that. After all, Indy never had it easy now did he! His path leads him into the deep parts of Omicron space in search of a rare Nomad artifact. He had to dodge not just the authorities but Corsairs, the Order, Bounty Hunters and others to deliver it to wherever it needs to go. The artifact is so guarded and secret as it is the one remaining piece that tells the creation of the whole sector.
Sprague is in om3, where the RM really shouldn't be. BAF/BPA might take him in for questioning, he manages to escape to om5, runs to om15, dresden.... and then the RM catch him
