Alright then, back to the point of feedback. I have had very limited encounters with the Phantoms But they have been good encounters. One minor gripe though- You guys can be too direct at times. I'd honestly enjoy some sort of 'manipulation' RP from your side, like the one Bacon did on the Junkers. Good job there! With limited means but a lot of reputation and terror, the Phantoms could really crack some stuff with good ol' 'scaring others into doing your work'. Would be funny to see a fat LPI guy (No offense to the real LPI:P) being scared by the phantoms into doing some real crazy stuff in New York.
Definitely not timely, since it happened weeks ago...
But flying as ((STA)) I was stopped in Magellan by a Phantom.
Now, I don't know much about the Phantoms, despite being pretty in-the-know... and the guy/lady did a good job of testing me (demanded me to order the passengers to abandon ship) and a better job of coming out with a good RP ending (I didn't; he/she noted the potential for good in me, and instead demanded my CMs and regens), the whole time the Phantom was grouped with an Outcast.
It irked me that the Phantom was pals with (I can't remember -- maybe a 101st? Probably not...) an Outcast, since, to my understanding, Phantoms are terrorists that are searching out the "evil" in humanity.
To be grouped with a Sirian, let alone a criminal... it just didn't make much sense to me and it took away from the mystique, I guess I'd call it.
Anywho, I could be all wrong on all of this. In a way I don't want to be corrected -- I sort of want to learn on my own. But yes, here's some feedback.:)Thanks to that pilot for a good, balanced, 10 minutes of RP.
Even Terrorists need allies to survive in space, unfortunately. Otherwise, we'd kill them too.:D
On a more serious note; you say we're looking for the evil in society, we say we're looking for the ones who have what it takes to do what is necessary to save humanity.

This thing happened to my character -whom I don't want to name- a while ago for now. Recovery time from various things can be long indeed...
I was popped to pieces by a ship I don't want to name here aswell, let's just say it was alien of origin to me. That thing changed my character's point of view forever...as well as some old friends had to work hard to gather him back into a functioning piece.
Sometimes it's just enough if you're being shredded into stardust, without any further contacts or any trying to make contact with the ship that is going to devastate you out there.

Replying on this thing before, if you would look for the sycos who have what it takes, then this sector would be lost...forever...seeing that how many bloodthursty (yes thursty) pilots are out there (not that I want to hurt anybody's feelings).

Oh, I remember this, that Outcast wasn't really allied with me, per se, but I had been allowing them to follow me around since Djinn has a particular liking for (most) the Maltese people, and because they helped me hold a couple targets still earlier on in my flight.
Aaanyway, I'm glad you enjoyed our encounter, even if the 101st pilot took away from it a bit, maybe we'll cross paths again sometime, haha.
The phantoms . . haven't impressed me in game, at all. My last encounter went like this: "*exact callsign here* - the shadow drawn, your reflection looks inward" then starts blasting away at my junker train. What um . . . why does this group fly around again? Is it simply . . pvpwhore lulwuttiieness, or, do they have a grand kill every living being scheme?
I just met 2 phantoms and some assorted pirates in Dublin on my BHG Gunship.
Im not gonna name names. But what struck me as poor the following.
Some folks were chatting around Arranmore. 2 phantoms were sitting there. 1 phantom says a few lines. the other is completely mute. Then suddenly I get a preset attack message and I get a suckerpunch snac on my ship before I can even reply. those are indie lolpirate actions. not worthy of official factions.
Then follows a 4-5 on 1 on me. The other guys were probably not under your control but still. show some restraint lads.
ok, that's it. Now Im off before the band wagon gets rolling and this becomes an unneccesary flame fest.

I remember going past leeds in my trader. There was a few phantoms there, and I went "Great, this should be good RP"
They stopped me, asking, "Won't you stay a while?" I obliged, and five seconds later i was blasted to pieces by them. I have no idea why, i didn't hear any RP, or find anything in the backlogs...so yeah, phantom empire, a big pile of hate from me.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
