I REALLY CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE. Before you suggest leave NY, elsewhere is desolate, and server pop dropped to 80 during my primetime.

1-LULWUTTERS a lot of them. Pirates pirating just to be jerks and asking for ridiculous amounts, traders saying stuff they shouldn't (hey if you want to powertrade like me KEEP YOUR DAMN MOUTH SHUT), navy being LULZ I P000WWWWNNN U and smugglers taking their pirate transport RIGHT UP TO TOUCH MY CAPSHIP knowing I can't shoot them, and block my range of fire. Seriously. Oh and caps out of their zone of influence too. All while bumping me like crazy, and traders ramming right into me to get past. LEARN TO FLY. Wait for your turn. Why don't I report for intentional bumping? Cos I don't wanna ruin anyone's day. But learn to fly before you start throwing SNACs at 100 range. The real bombers that kill me are those that shoot from a distance while evading fire from my guns and escort craft.

2-All this with crappy, what they think is humorous, unfunny, crappy jokes in local chat and guess what? Cos theres nothing better to do, people respond to them. RP isn't what it means anymore. Hell I'm not known for my RP and believe it has limits but telling jokes to the cops and the cops responding to them really takes the cake. No longer 'eject from your ship and prepare to be taken into custody' 'ahh its the cops open fire boys' 'allright, have it your way. kill them all'. It has become 'man this cop made me spill my taco' 'heh I had really good taco last night' 'oh yeah? those on cadiz are best'. This makes me think the average age on the server is 12. All while bumping me non stop.

3-Keep running!!! As long as under 10k, we're ok!!!
Seriously. There is no combat left in this game. It is all about how much damage you can melt out in a burst of 10 seconds. Not funny. 1 hour of cheezey crappy severely oorp joke telling, and then a minute of combat, rinse, repeat. How about we change engagement rules to 5k? Or better yet, see (5).

4-Fights are too short. Real battles take hours. NOT who has better armor and deal more burst damage in half a minute. I mean, many of us play freelancer in fact any game for the pewpew. Don't want to spend 3 hours in space with just 2 minutes of actual, gun firing combat.

5-SO HOW TO FIX THIS? Remove every single rule on discovery.
Put in these 2.
A-No crappy RP, be a little more serious about it.
B-Don't be a jerk, be considerate.

So A covers all the RP problems we're having.
B covers all the gameplay problems we're having.

Also, implement cost of death, so you can't die as many times as you like. Don't want to work? Fly smaller ships. Maintenance people. There has to be costs of using stuff, not just buying it. All MMOs need a gold sink.
Make fights last half an hour and not just 10 seconds. Damage nerf, and cruise disruptor on capships.

As for the people I just described, I'm prepared, really its ok. Do your worst. Flame me hard.

Go out of Liberty, avoid Alpha, Gamma and Minor (which aren't actually too bad nowadays).

The only reason you have these problems is because you spend time in Liberty.

Meaning, stay out of Liberty if you can't handle it.
