You guys have completely overlooked the simplest and cheapest weapon of all.

Kinetic Energy Weapons (KEWs) are the most destructive and the cheapest cost of anything. Strap a nice big rocket on a big rock - aim it at where the planet will be in 2 months or so - since it'll take that long to get up some decent speed - and let fly. You can have anywhere from just massive explosions and crates all the way up to pasteurized planet.

if you want to get technical, No missile sound fire anything can combust in space.. simply because there isant any air.. so any kind of explosive that needs to be detinated say in space, evenn just out of a atmohphere is just a PHail notion..
