A man wearing a strange uniform walks into the caf?, short auburn colored hair and a friendly way about him. The only thing odd, besides the uniform, was that his left eye was deep red, when his right was a brown shade.

He had a smile as he nodded at the people in the cafe, headed up to order something eat, then sat down again and ate his dinner in peace, he read a book in between bites.

A man wearing a strange uniform a lot like the one the previous man that entered the bar had, he had a hood on his head, he held his head down a bit so people can't see his face he walked to the bar and ordered a drink, after getting his drink he joined the other man that previously came in and they started talking.

Linus spared the newcomers a glance, but as they said nothing and seemed to prefer it that way, he left them be. Takes all kinds, they say. Guess I can't blame 'em - sometimes I don't feel much like talkin', either. Returning his attention to Doc and the card, he favored the former with a wry grin, and let the latter fall to the table.

"Lucky for my wallet, an' unlucky for yours, I'm not much of a gambler. S'a neat trick, though." He leaned back again, and shrugged as the ever-present grin returned. "But I never actually asked where ya learned how to do cards, so I s'pose I can't really hold it against ya to not tell me. And speakin' of hard to believe, how 'bout that new Molly treaty?" The grin fell a bit more as he continued. "Think it'll make a difference?" It was no secret that the war wasn't going well for Bretonia, and whatever else he might've thought of either House, Linus had no desire whatsoever to see one wiped out.

Doc sensed the concern in Linus' look.
"The Mollies will do what the Mollies must do," he said. "They've been through a lot. Fighting for their independence and...." He got closer to Linus and whispered, "...the annhilation of Planet Cork." He leaned back. "We must respect them."

"The Bretonian Crown," he began before stopping himself and only shrugged. It was no secret that he hadn't the best relations with them but he buried his feelings on it.

"Now, let's play some Poker," he said, again shuffling the cards with a smile, "your money will be my money!"

Admiral Ravenor walked in the cafe still dressed in his Dress blues. He took his cover off and tucked it under his arm as he looked around. The various ZDF personnel that were there stood at attention and he immediately told them to just be at ease and enjoy themselves, for he was here to do the same. He looked around the Cafe seeing people enjoying themselves over a game of poker, over a nice dinner, and even over some very beautiful company.

Chuckling to himself inside he walks up to the bar and takes a seat. Looking over at the bartender he orders a drink, whiskey straight. Once the drink is poured he grabs the cup and sniffs the liquor. Hmm... smells like 08, good year Takes a swig and turns around looking for some activity of fun to join in on.

After finally catching up on some sleep after several days of hard work, the former model left her Canaria condo to Sophie's for a night out before she was to leave on her trip the next day.



It was a busy place with Zoners, transport drivers, a few Corsairs and a couple of military officers amongst the many. Anyone who she caught staring she just shot a smile at them and winked.

"What can I get you, Miss?" asked the bartender.
"Vodka sour, please, Sir," she answered with a beaming smile.
As he mixed her drink, he quietly chatted with her, "So what brings a pretty young lady such as yourself into a place full of riff raff like this?"
Sitting on her bar stool, she just leaned forward a bit, "Sweetie, there is riff raff in every bar in Sirius. I imagine the same of Gallia as well."

The bartender was twisting the lime as he listened. He noticed a very slight accent that only a trained ear would catch. "Rheinlander?" he asked her softly.
Again she smile, "Hamburg." She then inquired, "I'm surprised you have never heard of me."
He placed the drink before her, "I'm sorry, Miss, but I'm afraid not. You would be surprised sometimes how some things don't get out her from the houses. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not."
"Fair enough," she answered, taking a sip of the drink, "Hm...very good."
The bartender just smiled his thanks.

After tending to a few more customers, some of which took notice and got winked at, the bartender returned to her, "Do be careful, Miss, some of these folks here have no morals at all and aren't much more than vagrants in a uniform."
"I'll keep that in mind," she replied with a wink. As she sat, she gave a devious smirk. Reaching into her bag, she pulled out a framed picture and handed it to the bartender.

"Something for you to keep for yourself," she again smiled, "it was taken on Planet Los Angelas."



At the top it was signed, "XOXO....Nichole"

*A man appears in the door way. He stands there for quite a while...not moving. Slightly hunched, the man's cloak is strange, is worn and ragged looking, yet clearly recognsable as one of the Former Consuls of the Union of Gold.*

"Its the one they captured me in lad. They gave it back to me when I was released. It seems to be the only thing left..."

*As the man enters the bar, the light of the the bar, a woman gasps at his face. Holding a cane in front of him, he slowly limps his way to the bar*

*Aye lad, it was a mighty fine pain it was....a mighty fine pain indeed. To be honest lad, I hope I never have to do it again. This old soul couldnt take it again....No sir."

*A few puzzled patrons glance at the man, wondering who he is talking to...*

"Do ye have anything from Molly space around here lad? I havent had a taste of home in many years....nice place yeh got here..."

*The feels his way to a barstool and sits. As he turns to the proprietor, his gnarled face comes into view. Scar tissue viens out across the upper half of his face from beneath his dark glasses. His smile spreads revealing a singular chipped incisor standing defiantly alone in the cavernous maw. Laugh lines crease the face of a man who once may have once known happiness. The unsettling contridiction of the two provoke a shudder.*

Mid age man entered the cafe. He wore blue-olive spacesuit with strange patch on it. He looked around cafe and stopped sight on ex molly for a while. Someone bright would see rage in his blue eyes for this short moment but he quickly turn head in another direction and smiled again.

He walked to the bar and looked at drinks list.

"well Tequila Sunrise sounds good why don't try this one" he said.

He took his drink to the table near window and started reading news.

Two men walked right in through the Cafe door. One was wearing an all yellow outfit. He was clearly a Zoner but you could see a shiny pin attached to his collar with the abbreviation, "TAZ". With him was a tall and bald headed man, he was wearing a leather jacket and fitting jeans. You could see 2 gun pockets ready to defend his companion. Clearly he was hired to be his bodyguard. They took seats next to the door and ordered a coffee and a beer.

The Zoner said, "Bannon, you told me that contact of yours was going to show up. Where is he now?"

Bannon replied,"Aye cap'n but you know these deuterium suppliers, Always busy selling to other people."

When the drinks were served, Bannon went outside to call his contact while the Zoner quickly saw a few of his TAZ acolytes playing cards but decided not to interrupt them.

He said to himself, "Heh, I'll let them spot me instead."

Nichole was getting ready to leave when she noticed the news flashing across a monitor at the bar.

"Oh pooh," she said as the smile ran away from her face, "Well, I guess I won't be going to California for some beach time now."

She just turned back on her stool and raised her finger, "Bartender, could you get me another one, Please?" as she held up her empty glass. Then she just sighed in disgust.
