I started my patrol at Springfield today, and headed for New York via Pueblo Station. Everything was quiet, and the Navy seemed to be out in full force at both Pueblo and Houston, with Dreadnought patrols in place, so I left them and headed for Fort Bush after the usual loop in the New York system. We then had a minor (predicted and expected) ion storm, which passed without any problems. I later went to Fort Bush for some sim training after the loop (//Connecticut) and met up with Seymore, a fellow LPI officer, and a bunch of other people that were in-game (//In Connecticut)at the moment. Was fun to get some training in. I left the sim a couple of hours and dogfights later and went to get some sleep in my office at Fort Bush.

Report filed by: Sergeant Aiden Maggard
Date: 05-01-818

I ran into a perennial nuisance today, Jarek_70, in Pennsylvania. He came right after me and what should have been a short fight turned into a very long one. Two Junkers, Deep_Centaur and Deep_Faith, started feeding him nanobots. After I took out Jarek, I engaged the two Junkers. Long long into the fight their leader showed up and ordered them to stand down. After quite a mouthful from me, they saw that you cannot assist criminals and get away with it. I think they have learned their lesson but be sure to keep an eye on them.

  • I started out today watching the lanes around ft. bush with Detective Kimble and someone named Richter. Before long a freelancer showed up and muttered something about a bounty on Kimble! After a long bout of silence, the freelancer opened up on Kimble. The freelancer quickly found herself on the wrong end of a Libby swarm. Hehehe.

  • In short, Kimble is fine and Brittany.DeVisa should be added to the fugitive listing. She escaped to Rochester.

Subject: Patrol report 3
My first day as freshly promoted Officer started with a pretty quiet system. There was an Ion storm coming, so everyone probably stayed at home. I nevertheless decided to do a small patrol around NY. I was about to head back to Fort Bush to sit out the Ion storm, when I encountered Kurt_Arkanis. Something felt weird, so I decided to do a regular cargo scan. It appeared my gut was right. His whole cargo bay was filled with Artifacts.

I immediately ordered him to stop, which, fortunate for him, he did. He denied knowing about the illegal state of artifacts. Then... suddenly.. he contacted me on my personal comm channel. I knew he was going to try it, but it still came quite unexpected. He tried to buy me off. Fool.

After this nonsense I ordered him to drop the artifacts right away, and pay a fine of 1.5 million credits for transporting illegal goods and attempt for bribing a LPI officer.

The Ion storm was close, so I was afraid I would escape into the storm. Then he finally dropped the artifacts, which got a nice blast of my Vengance mk V, and paid me the 1.5 million fine. The Ion storm was coming way to soon, so I hurried to Fort Bush for a nice Donut Lunch.

All lived happily ever after.

From Recruit Officer Dr. Anna Wolfe

Subject: Patrol Report

I was patrolling with Officer John Smith and Sergeant Aiden Maggard when we encountered a Hacker shooting up part time police officer and he also had Navy prisoners on board. Admiral Hale then engaged him, Maggard moved off to encounter a member of the [101st] a Mr Jameson and his crony a Mr William Clayton. They refused to leave Liberty on the demand of the sarge and we had no choice but to defend ourselves from their attack. Jameson Is lucky to be alive after one of my nukes hit his ship right in the middle. He then decided to turn his guns on my ship, and he got very lucky with one of his mines. I thank the maker of the auto ejection system of the Liberator or I would not be sending this report.

Writing this from medical again... Got a nuke to the face from the Hellfire Legion today. I was woken up by an emergency call on the 5KYP-3 network, and ordered to proceed to West Point ASAP. There I was greeted by an amassment of at least Lane Hackers of various types, from fighters to gunboats. I, however, after we had taken down one of them and lost one of ours plus a Navy capital ship that had to retreat, my Liberator was, as mentioned, vaporised by a nuclear mine. The mechanics are saying they'll be trying try to tow the remains of the Liberator back from near West Point when this is all over. One can hope, at least. If anyone that's not in the fight yet is reading this I advise you to head to West Point ASAP, where I presume the fight is still ensuing.

Recruit Officers Anna Wolffe, Art Collins, and John Smith are all promoted to Officers henceforth. Wear the badge proud.

As such, you're cleared to fly more ships. Check with the Requisitions officer if you wish, and also you can apply for SWAT training and clearance.
