My opinion:

There are many things that make this mod great.

The storyline isn't even close to being one of them. Rather it is probably the single worse thing about this mod.

Meh - stopped caring about this mess a long time ago. Sirius is big enough. I don't need to put up with this stuff.

It's a fact that no one cares about what you or the majority of our community wants. This is evident by past developments of story line. If we, the faction leaders, were at any point included in the writing of the story line, then sirius would look _QUITE_ different. Rumor says, you won't get what you want. Edit: After all, we're just one of many communities. I'm still trying to get that.


Also: Its a shame that the Outcast's involvements, the hispanic war and that other little war thingy weren't mentioned.

Mod Statement; Everyone, behave yourselves. No one will get what they want by making demands, insulting, arguing, etc. Posts in this thread should be well-thought-out, reasoned, and informed.

Dev Statement; I'd appreciate it if everyone would please not let their imaginations have free reign. This is especially true of the two rumors concerning the Outcasts and the Bretonians. No one has said the Outcasts are losing Cali or Kirkwall. Also, Bretonia is still contending in Leeds. The only changes have been that Bretonia lost Edinburgh, which has nothing in it except a Gaian Base, Luxury Liner, and terraforming outpost.. Not what I'd call critical.

Bretonia still has New London, Dublin, Cambridge, Manchester, Omega-3 operations, Newcastle.

The only factions heavily affected thus far is the Council (no official faction yet..), Kusari (of whom the house emperor was aware of these changes) and IMG/CR (who were likewise aware).

This is not the end of the world. You will all adapt. You will find things aren't as bad as your over-active imaginations have implied.

Keep in mind, I'm a Kusari, Gallia, and Bretonian player.. The most important ones being Bretonia and Kusari. I'm also an Outcast.. It's not like I've got a bias, so believe me when I say; We've not screwed anybody over.

But in all seriousness on my part, I rather like how everything is being tossed all over. It's some kind of change or something. As a Bretonian, I was happy to look at this. I love to make a comeback. It makes everything so much more awesome. Just imagine that sense of accomplishment from winning all those difficult battles. Ah, I love it. It's like someone wrote forum RP which is actually happening on the server!

The Gallians have appeared at your door, all you can do is choose how to open it.

According to the story thus far, I feel it should bring about exciting, yet ill-conceived by some, yet also interesting side thoughts.

I'm curious as to what Liberty will do about all this. Will they help Bretonia against these foreign invaders, and risk a massive attack from Rheinland?

Will Rheinland do anything against the Gallic offensive? Or shall they seize this opportunity to offer Gallia the chance to assault Liberty with them in one massive campaign?

These are just speculations of mine, of course. Just some things to get you all thinking about things!

Great story, great for allot of people..


Could bring loads of new RP ventures for allot of factions, but I see allot of steam rolling and "Awesome-uber-powered-super-mega-awesome-kingdom-ofdoom-eth" coming to power.

I how ever don't really see a point in arguing anything, since Igiss and the dev's build the story line im going to sit back and watch it progress.

If I find out that my shipyard got shoved into the freaking black hole I am going to be very, very, very, very teed off. Everybody saw an invasion coming, but actually taking this much territory is just a bit absurd. Sure, it would happen, but was balance at all considered? Everybody got screwed. This game just went from being open-ended to being railroaded by a really tight GM. There's no way I can condone this. Love you guys, but seriously, what? EVERYTHING has been interrupted, and EVERYTHING will have to be rethought.

And I'm going to need a new trade route AGAIN.
