While on patrol today we came across a vast USI convoy under heavy escort. Upon my appearance they formed a tight group and demanded that I leave. I refused and instead followed them through new tokyo. I knew that they intented to teke Kusari goods out of our space, despite their denials. They attempted to stop me following them by disrupting lanes, but I outwitetd them and cornered them near the Shikoku Jump gate , whereupon they confessed they intended to steal from us.
However I was heavily outnumbered, and they knew they would win. But I knew I would take many down with me. Luckily the Emperor saw fit to provide us with some Hogosha friends. The [Yakuza] Turned up in the nick of time. They were in no mood for games and soon battle was engaged. The first escort fell quickly and the transports fled through the gate, chased out by a Yakuza. Myself and the other Yakuza remained to deal with the last few escorts.
We were fighting bravely, but things were beginning to go the USI way. I prepared for a final stand.
Obce again the Emperor shone his might upon us, and AAF reinforcements arrived in the form of [AFA]Crop.Duster.
Thinking he was an easy target in a transport the USI turned all attention to Crop.Duster, allowing us to pick them off like flies.
Of course, the USI failed to notice the impressive armour mounted on the Crop.Duster.
Victory was ours, the Transports had escaped, but their escorts will fly no more.

Konnichiwa my good people.
I always enjoy patrolling Kusari space. The beauty, the serenity, the potential for prosperity is as promising as ever. I feel we are making progress, though of course it will take us much time and work yet.
My patrol today started out in Kyushu. From there I made my way to New Tokyo and proceeded in the direction of Honshu. At the jump gate to Honshu I ran into a Golden Chrysanthemum, a gaijin pirate (callsign Saerieve), and a couple of gaijin traders. A battle was going on between the pirate and a Hogosha vessel. It seemed to be in hand so I began to work on the traders. Unfortunately shortly after that, the Hogosha vessel met its end, and while my attention was diverted away from the traders and onto the others, the traders managed to slip away. Naturally the Chrysanthemum and the pirate were not too pleased with my presence. Just as we were conversing, a gaijin miner passed me and docked with the trade lane. I decided to bring our talks to a swift end and pursue the miner, who I had more pressing business with. It took some chasing, but I eventually caught the miner in Kyushu. He was running for the Tau-23 jump hole. He did not offer any satisfactory response to my numerous requests, so I destroyed his vessel. Some people have no regard for the welfare of those whose hospitality they obliviously ignore for their own financial gain.
Just as I had dealt with the gaijin miner, the Golden Chrysanthemum and the pirate arrived. They had seemingly followed me from New Tokyo looking for trouble. Some more tense words were exchanged, and an inevitable battle followed.
She faught well, and the pirate showed some honor by not interfering. I have little doubt that we will meet again.
Many Traders are trying their luck , attepting to supply bretonia and other Gaijin. However things are looking up for Kusari, in the form of new friends. The Yakuza and Kaizoku gangs have been working with us in cleaning our space. Here is a few records from our outings.
I shall look back on these days with fondness.

Konbanwa brothers,
Upon returning from an uneventful patrol, I was greeted by a messenger who informed me of a terrible and tragic accident which occured yesterday on Planet Kyushu. My father, who lives a simple life and keeps a sizeable farm in the valleys of Miyanoura has fallen ill and is reportedly on his death bed. As such, I must leave my post with the AFA and leave for home at once. I may not be back, as there is nobody else in the family currently capable of running the family farm and looking after affairs.
So brothers, I must bid you farewell, and best wishes. Perhaps one day I will return. In the meantime Ochi-san will watch over my Black Dragon and the Septoria, perhaps they will be of use to some of you in my absence.
It has been the highest honour serving with you all and it is with a heavy heart that I depart. I will continue to support our cause in any way I can.
Our numbers are beginning to swell once again, and Gajin fear our space more and more each day. We even have reports of fearful traders attempting to place bounties upon our heads.
This is good news. Let us rise yet further to glory.

-------Subject: Gaijin Outcast Gunboat in Kusari space-------
Konnichiwa,
Last week I was on patrol but it seemed like gaijin transport suppliers was avoiding me. I was flying all around Kusari but it looked like everybody disappeared.
I was on my way back from Honshu to planet Kyushu where I used to have my fields until gaijin companies cost me my work.
But when I was in New Tokyo I recieved several transmission that gaijin ship was spotted in Shikoku. Nobody was closer so I decided to investigate in my own.
I arrived to Shikoku and I passed planet Junyo.
Nobody was around but suddenly my long range scanners started picking up hostile vessel. I went closer and I saw Outcasts Gunship class Tridente.
I was so polite I gave him two options, leave kusari forever or die.
He obviously decided the second option because without any warning he enganged me but I dodged and the battle started.
It was long brutal vicious fight, no reinforcements nearby so I had to handle him alone. But finally I blew him up.
I hope this will make gaijins think better before entering Kusari space. After battle I returned to Kagoshima Depot and I had a bowl of rice and sushi.
This wasnt last case of Gaijins in Kusari for sure. So I'd just say... see you in space.

Today is a glorious day for the strength of our Forces! The Corsair empire has granted us the permission to use one of their gunboats for our cause. All I had to do was supplying them with some of our food. I really appreciate people who value a stomach full of quality high. Attached are the flight-logs of the three trips I did down to Crete with the Rusty Scythe.
