My brothers and sisters, as is our way, Elders do not serve for life, as some point they leave this service of their people to make room for a new group of leaders to shape our nation. The role of leadership among the Corsairs is a large responsibility, and it takes much out of those who serve in it. I am old, and I am tired, and it is time that my leadership of the The Brotherhood and the Corsair nation come to an end. I no longer have the heart nor the energy to serve, and as such, I will pass the honor to those who can serve the nation and the Brotherhood with the steadfast isolation it seems to require.
It has been my honor to serve in this role, and I can only hope that my time in this position has served to strengthen our nation and the Brotherhood and has not served to weaken us.
I hand leadership of the Corsair Brotherhood and my seat on the Council of Elders to Juan Montoya, a man who is much better suited then myself for such a position.
The Corsair nation has given me the honor of leading it, I have been able to sit at the head of the Brotherhood for longer than any that has come before me, but I am afraid we have stagnated, and that is my fault, and it is time to make the decisions to secure the Brotherhood and our nations future, and I do that with my retirement.
Thank you to the all Corsair for giving me the privilege to serve you these past years.

Buen giorno, Miguel.
I hope that doesn't mean you leave us at all?
Leadership is hard work, si, you don't have to be in charge all the time. So... take a rest and have some fun.
I'm sure you will retire with your great wealth to your estates on Gran Caneria. I hope to join you one day when I am too old to be useful to our people. Your experience and knowledge will still be needed however, I hope you will be willing to act as a consultant. Leading our people is an exhausting experience, the fact that you were able to do it for as long as you did speaks wonders for your endurance and mental fortitude.
If you ever have need of anything, feel free to contact me at any time.

Amigo, it saddens me to hear that our time working alongside each other in the Council has come to an end. I'd like to, on behalf of myself, the Benitez, and, I think, on behalf of the empire, thank you for your services over past decades. Our empire has passed from the brink of civil war to unprecedented stability during your tenure, and despite overwhelming odds against us, the empire continues to stand strong, a testament, in part, to your efforts.
I hope this is not the end, and that we will still fly alongside each other in many glorious battles to come. I suspect that the Brotherhood is not ready to say goodbye to you yet, and that the Empire and the Brotherhood still have much to gain from your experience and expertise.
With that in mind, I wish you luck in future endeavours, and look forward to our next opportunity to work together.
