Well, I read the story about a week or so ago now and I loved it. Of course there are those who resent the changes, but we can't please everyone. I know for a fact I'm going to enjoy the changes. Over on Disco UK I've been the leader of the GRN player faction for almost a year. We have had our ups and downs but in the end what is hitting us hard is the lack of...anything to do. GC has a higher player count meaning we get less activity in Gallia on UK meaning there's not a great deal for us to do apart from raid Languedoc or Champagne, at which point we get raped by overpowered NPCs. Allowing us to head into the Tau's is really going to change a lot of things and I am looking forward to see the effect it has on those systems but also the other changes being made Sirius wide.

Good work dev team.

wait a minute,if gallia comes down through bretonia towards liberty...wont they end up colliding with coalition army in omega 52?

another thing,if the gallic forces try to get to liberty through magellan most of there capitalships will have trouble getting past the barrier,,which would be a perfect time to start picking them off

also..dont think every single img pilot is going to take this easy....

i have an img id >.>

i predict alot of faction splits..i think some players will agree...but alot wont back down

youll end up with people randomly raiding and trashing gallic space out of spite

I don't believe that the gallic navy will reach Liberty space, can make some "scouting" but never a full attack, because to do that they have to first defeat Bretonia. In my simple opinion will be a big war. I imagine that Tau 31 is under Gallic ocupation exacept planet Harris that will continue resisting because they will fight on the air, fight on the ground, fighting on the sea but they will never surrender, so Bretonia will defend Leeds and Newcastle, while the Gaians make an non agression pact with bretonian will make raides on Edinburgh and Lewis. I also see the Kusari defending Kyushu from some gallic "scounting" patrols. The Mollys i think that they will help defending Newcastle and they will have a lot to do on Dublin, because the Corsairs will take an advantage and try to invade Dublin. Ohter thing that will also be very important is the action of the Outcast. Cali base on Tau 23 will be overrun, or heavly sieged, and that will make engage the Outcast engage the Gallic, and that will bring to another point, Tau 37. Since IMG will be neutral, the Gallic will need an advance base to prevent Outcast attacks on Tau 23, so the only base there is avaiable is Freeport 10. Of course Zoners will never let that happen so Gallic Navy will siege Freeport 10, that will resits the invasion by continues help from all zoners from Freeport 6 on Tau 29. Knowing this, Gallic will start to raid Tau 29 not only to stop the zoner's ships, but also prevent any attempt of Kusari major ofensive. While this happen, the Colonial will make continues raids on Gallic forces, to prevent any attack on Tau 44. All this will make the gallic invasion stop, not ending, because even with number superiority, it will be a huge batle front and will spread all gallic navy for too many systems.
I also think that Liberty will not have a big participation on this part of Sirius, can maybe send some suplies and sometime some ships to some kind of raid.

This is what i think that could happen, i can be wrong but ... who knows?

Take care all

(and sorry for my poor english)

An interesting challenge to the writers of this story:

Bretonia was being pushed back by the KNF. Now they are faced with an enemy that is what? Twice the size, five times the size, ten times the size?

If Bretonia DOES manage to beat this overwhelming force - no House in its right mind should ever DARE try to attack Bretonia again...but realistically, such an overwhelming force should be able to completely overrun Bretonia - and be poised to move onto its next enemy.

To answer the eariler question, the corsairs are too far from gallia to interact with it, with the possible exception of Breton Sairs. Gallics terminate non gallics on sight. Its a bit like trying to reason with Rambo

Looks like fun. My Bretonian will continue to be fun to play. Also may make a bid and Council now. I'd love to play someone who survived the rear-guard of the retreat!
