However, i am not much fond of ships that you will use...CFF should use same ship line as CR...something in the lines strike them with their own weapons...:crazy:
Freelancer tag with pirate ID...again not much fond of...IMO Colonial tag and pirate ID would fit better and since you would be without faction tag in front of the name something that would differ you from common freelancing pirate. Then again if this gets some proper RP in the future even CFF NPC tag is possible...

We were and are fond of those among us (not all as some will be just mercenaries) using Colonial tech as they're Colonial deserters. However, I was worried that we couldn't do that since the Pirate ID has IMG/CR tech on a red cell, so we'd practically have to make a SRP to the admins for the entire faction.
And I can't think of any other ID which we could possibly use. :/

We have after all decided to run with CFF| tags on all of our units besides the undercover ones, due to people suggesting it and ourselves reaching the same conclusion.
As for a Colonial NPC tag, that'd be awesome. However, again it might be a rules problem because that'd make us green with CR NPCs and I suspect that they'd either want to use Faction Right Five on us or complain that we'd theoretically (though we'd not do it) dock on CR stations.
If the admins and CR wouldn't mind this, we'd be totally for it (of course still being autorepped by the Pirate ID as we are now). Also, I suspect that the whole process would require admins repping our characters.
As for your last thing about a possible future, I hope that might one day be true and we are planning to put in a lot of effort in this, however I suspect it's a long way from here as we're an unofficial faction, mod versions aren't that often, and there's always unpredictable things that could happen.

I'll try to talk with some of the admins about some of the things you mentioned and see if anything comes out of it.
I also believe it's possible to set an NPC tag on a ship without the ship itself being green with the faction, though I'm not sure.

I have to echo what Swift said mainly on the Tech and ID/IFF. Its all about what we can technically use according to the rules. We didnt want to have to spend ages getting permissions to set it up and get things running so we are starting basic. Ideally i would like a Colonial IFF and a terrorist ID using nyxes and pythos for the people who deserted/were exiled. However this is alot of SRP requests and may end up more trouble than its worth. We can yet hope.
If anyone else in interested in joining PM swift or even myself, we need some people to start setting up our cheeky semi-secret merc wing. Also please post any feedback on our RP here or in game if you see us, we always want to be constructive and keep things fresh.

CR as you can tell for me is one of my main interests within Disco.
As of late it has become boreing. Too much whining.. Fighting off the CFF sounds like a chance for ingame hillarity of propganda aswell as conflict involving guns. All in favor of this.

At least this rebellion has some sane RP behind it. That alone makes it better than what the Outcasts (referring specifically to RA here) and Order have had to deal with in the past.

I am glad you see things (approximately) my way. Just try that it doesn't go too much towards the gun part, but that's of course desirable when it's needed and RP dictates it.

I see several people in CR hating this CFF thing, I for one do not. I am always up for a bit of RP. However, let me say this. This faction is not likely to effect how the CR operates internally. So please don't go through thinking so. (Just to be quite blunt)
But as a bit of fine RP that i see here, it is perfectly reasonable. I look forward to seeing you people ingame. Good luck trying to get to the Fleet Admiral though, he stays on the rubi (Zephyr) pretty much all the time.
From an RP standpoint I will be telling all of the colonial fighters to treat you as Hostile, you aint gonna be allowed anywhere near us. Without a little bit of shooting. But as you are technically colonial I will be asking them to try and resolve the situation peacefully first. (Which should result in the wanted RP)
About equipment, now it isn't my place to discuss that really, however In my opinion i would be happy to see a small number of colonial fighters under your command. Mainly as you will have some deserters with you and they were probably flying nyxes at that time.
But i would not consider it the best of plans to have all of the troops in nyxes/pythos. Especially from as you know swifteh, our own pilots have to request them on our boards due to our stock being low. However it is upto you to see what you decide to do.
Yes, I know about the Cabinet thing, I believe I'd already changed it. I'll look for anything I've missed.
As for that, I don't care about that and, yet again, find myself insulted somewhat. Willing to look past that as I'm sure the implications you've just made were unintentional. The CFF has its in-RP goals and it aims to achieve them in-RP. If some day they'd win totally, which frankly I don't see happening as well as the fact it'd make things.. uninteresting, the changes that they'd make would, again, be in-RP. From a CFF standpoint, I don't care who leads the Colonial Remnant OORP. However, of course the CFF'd like to kill every last one of the characters on top who've "betrayed their nation", as they'd say.
I'm glad that the FA will be closely guarded and I wish that were true about all Colonial dignitaries who we'd like to assassinate one day. We wouldn't want to make it too easy, not to mention the fact that we can't really go killing people's characters if they don't agree to it.

And yes. After Doom posted here saying that I went ahead and inquired with the admins regarding that possibility. Now I don't know what'll come out of it but it cannot hurt, I reckon.
And no, out of our people, if we get the go ahead to fly with Colonial equipment, only those whose RP it actually requires will. So those among the CFF who are actual deserters, former pilots, and such who'd actually have any training in at least the basic operations of a Nyx. I can't predict what people's backgrounds'll be as I don't intend to dictate their RP (as long as it makes sense and is in line with CFF RP).
In any case, you have nothing to worry from me, for the umpteenth time.
If everyone has RP realism in mind along with avoiding ingame conflicts breaching into "real life", namely forums and Skype, in which regards, by the way, I'd like you to sort a few Colonials out as they're esentially giving me a very hard time regarding my stay in the Colonial Remnant. I'm sure I don't have to name anyone and you'll get the picture on your own.
