Solveig (pronounced "Soulway") is the only daughter and legitimate heir of the former diamond miner Emil Rosskamm, who held the deed of ownership to a small but profitable asteroid field in the Dresden system. As one of the last independent miners in this system, he felt the full economical and political pressure that Daumann Heavy Construction and especially Kruger used to gain unlimited control over mining and commerce in Dresden - but yet they could not expropriate him in any legal or semi-legal way. Emil, farsighted and cautious as he was, had already planned the escape route.
The day on which Emil Rosskamm was outlawed under wrong accusation of piracy and sabotage, Rheinland House Police failed to track him, as he had left the system on an unknown path, heading to the Tau's. He never saw his homeland again. With him went his five year old little Solveig, unable to understand the haste, the fear and the tears of her father.
As a broken and betrayed man, Emil joined the IMG to assure a humble life to him and his daughter.
When Solveig turned 21, the "Tyr" - ship and home of her father - was found on the rim of Tau-29, without any sign of him or his escape pod. With the help of the IMG, the young woman forged a weapon out of the wreck of the old mining ship. Even though her father had been pacifist all of his life, his daughter inherited the temperament of her mother. The "Tyr" was reborn and well armed for its long way back to Rheinland space.
Solveig managed to enter Dresden on the old escape route her father used years ago. The escorts of the Kruger miners at the asteroid field her family once owned were not prepared for what followed.
A patrol of the Red Hessians found her in the debris she left there. The Hessians took Solveig to their hidden base in the Giftnebel, where she now found a home and a sense to her life again. She fastly gained the respect and trust of the rebells and soon the "Tyr" showed up everywhere in Rheinland and the Omegas under the Red Hessian flag. And it always brought trouble.
Latest reports of the Rheinland Military make mention of her increasing cooperation with vessels of the Neo Vikings and their presuming attacks on bombers, gunboats and even cruisers in the heart of New Berlin.
Even though all news channels in and off Rheinland built an image of thoughtless cruelty and brute bloodthirst around her, the young woman is more than a simple terrorist or pirate. Against the efforts and campagns of the government, doubts are rising on the official version about her fate - and the fate of many others. A large crowd of sympathisers had formed to support the Hessians - in all parts of Rheinland space.
Due to her personal story, Daumann and Kruger vessels are and will always be her favourite victims, while IMG is free to pass her in any situation. Contrary to her image, Solveig never shoots without serious provocation. Even military vessels which flee her will not be hunted in most cases.
Outside the cockpit, she turns into a reserved and thoughtful, silent ghost that wanders the stations and bases of the Hessians and their allies. Solitary and suspiciously as she is, even the outlawed cannot tell much about the personality behind the comrade Solveig Rosskamm.

I had the great pleasure to meet Robert Wolf today. I found him in Dresden near Voigtland - we went out together to teach some DHC eagles a lesson. One they definitely will keep in mind. We left their escape pods near the jump gate to New Berlin, so I am sure they will be found soon if they aren't already.
We jumped over Omega 11 to Omega 7 and ran into a transport full of cobalt there near the lanes. First he was not really cooperating - but his behaviour improved rapidly when our scanners found the hessian pilot in his cargo bay. Even though other factions showed up, nobody intervened. Robert followed my orders precisely and never showed just a sign of fear or doubt. We grabbed the cash - five million credits for the both of us - and vanished into the asteroid fields.
Next stop at Kruger mining location. Bingo. We caught two miners - both willing to pay and very discreet. I received every transmission without sharing the credits yet, but Robert stayed calm till we were save enough to split the loot. His reliability really payed off for him.
Back in Voigtland I'm sure the great achievement of the day is the acquaintance to a trustworthy and dauntless comrade. I really hope he reached a save haven.
Gute Nacht Dresden.

Operating alone today on enemy territory. Hacking the lanes in Frankfurt, New Berlin and especially Stuttgart. I met some Kruger miners out there and made their way to Munich a little more exciting - and expensive. Military didn't show up. This time.
I have to avoid Omega 7 for a while - it turned into a minefield full of mercenaries, corsairs and Kruger patrols. Even freelancers seem to be attracted by the bounty on my head. I am not sure whether the Hessians should tolerate this any longer. I will stay covered. When the time is right, I will gather the pilots for a resolute strike.
Be patient Dresden.

Today, Rheinland Military forces demonstrated their considerable firepower in Hudson system on the door step to Liberty. In the heat of the battle, both sides sent their requests to the Giftnebel, asking the Hessians for help - especially for bombers. This was a chance of a life time to pass Rheinland space with all their forces bound to Hudson and then enter Liberty pretending to serve them in their fight against the Rheinlanders. It worked out very well.
The Red Hessians, with most of their forces operating against the Corsairs in the Omegas, never had the intention to join this battle on any side. Not for the enemies of our Vaterland, and also not for its scourge. In Hudson I had the chance to witness how Liberty forces like the LNS "Fearless" or the LNS "Aspen" were destructed and smashed into pieces by the "Bismark" and the "Karlsruhe". I recorded the scene and on a distance of 8K.
When Rheinland started to gain the control about the situation, I decided to take what I got and leave as long as the disorder and confusion allowed me to. Back in Voigtland I handed over all of my files and records about the encounter. May this will help to study their weaknesses - but as I have seen them fighting in Hudson, I cannot imagine facing these flying fortresses in open battle. I heard rumours about a hessian counterpart to the rheinish dreadnoughts. If there is a true core behind the stories, I will find out more about it.
Stay unpredictable Dresden.

Recently, there is a whole new understanding established in Omega 7. This system is not only essential to the Hessians - as their main hunting ground for Kruger and Daumann miners, and even for the transit of freighters and transports - but also to the IMG, that started to outnumber other factions in this sector. The IMG immediately arranged agreements to strenghten their position in the asteroid fields. And they did not try to come to terms with Corsairs or Rheinland Military, Mercenaries or Freelancers. They installed a hooded cooperation with us.
Cretan gunboats put out of action by the combined fire of hessian fighters and an IMG battlecruiser - how they tried to flee our bombardment. With the Corsairs unsettled and overstrained in this situation, we have free forces to face the recreant and dastard assaults of the BHG or even head hunting Freelancers.
I will subordinate all other interests in this system to support and stabilise this new hidden bounds. This is a big step for the rebells and the revolution in Rheinland. We should not let this chance go - and I will invest all the time and affords necessary to assure the IMG the reliability of the Hessians.
Keep your promise, Dresden.
