Back to topic - yu are allowed to use multiple accounts to swap equipment using the 1 minute that it takes to log you off if you use F1. But that is it. Multiboxing as it is called here, is otherwise banned. And your ships start acting erratically when the admins beam you into a planet heheh. It's nice for people nearby though because they get your cargo.
Well, I log on both of my PC and laptop if I want to transfer something, like a cap VIII. Because you cannot drop those in space. Also, sometimes you really don't want to risk losing a bunch of weapons or other stuff in space.
' Wrote:Mind if I ask why multiboxing got outlawed by the rules in the first place? I'm curious about the reasons behind it.
What teschy said + blocking for other players. Remember, each character takes up a slot on the server.
What would you prefer : Having a server where 50 players are on, with 4 characters each at the same time, or a server where 200 players are on with each their single character ?
As have been said in the rules, multiboxing is allowed for short durations, to handle equipment transfers, and should be done outside of peak hours. Any other kind of multiboxing is not allowed. The definition for multiboxing is the same player using two or more computers or accounts at the same time.

shiny kit permanently. That is all.

I clicked on the title thread, then saw who made the topic and closed the thread without even reading.
Then I went, "oh yeah, might as well see what he has to say."
Now I wish I hadn't, due to the aforsaid waste of time.

I think the point was already made before this. No need for the authoritarian announcement.
