And yet I think there will be some new trends occuring. I'm looking forward to finding out. Only those opportunities that someone noticed are visible, because they're used. I bet there's at least one good trade run out there that nobody bothered to do on a regular basis yet.
Miners: Mining all day with some RP, having fun with friends, taking out anger on some little floating rocks.
Miners have to mine in GROUPS for it to be more profitable, and even then, it has to be done multiple times, since they profit is split. And since most people don't have the time to mine ALL DAY, then they don't make much money. Only a few have that time. Even then, you can be pirated to all hell until you get sick of it, yet it still holds appeal.

The cut on mining is a bad move. not because of credits, but with players interactions. i have met more players with mining than ever with trading or pirating. wasnt it all about to get people interact with each others?
I must say, I am a little disappointed in the way some people are handling this. I know that every version I have been here for has seen trading profits fall, it has not been the end of trading. Mining did that. Why? Because it offers far and away the best profits in the game. If the idea that just because you might not make as much profit as before, means that you must shut down your mining faction, does not speak very well for the faction or the rp behind it. I mine, and I am going to keep mining, I rob miners, and I am going to keep robbing miners. Why? Because I enjoy the RP that it provides me with, just like I enjoy the RP trading provides me with, which is why I don't look for the most profitable routes, I look for the ones that I enjoy the most.

I dislike most repetitive actions, which is why I'm poor. I don't mine much or trade much. '_'
This is just another nerf that doesn't affect us po' folks.:P
