Say i made a "member survey." So all the names would be in there, including yours. What if you ended up having 0 votes at the end?

Guys, don't vote, really. All admins have their pros and cons. Every admin here puts in a lot of work for this community, and their reword is minimal.

Meh.

I'm not here in disco to be the most popular, I have good friends and stuff. Besides, if you can't laugh at yourself once in a while...

I want to get off Mr. Igiss' wild ride.

Also, I cannot vote for all of them, so I shall not.

I don't know. But I have thought of a special prize for the most popular administrator, and couldn't decide myself who I should give it to. I understand that admins that aren't present on the server/forums lately won't be getting many votes, but I just listed all people I could remember. If this is a problem because the admins who have not won the vote would envy the one that did, it would be sad.

It also seems that so far 54 people have voted and didn't have a problem with it.

Feel free to make a "most popular member" survey and add my name on it. I certainly won't mind. Besides, Dusty would win it, anyway. It also can't be done using the forum poll function, because you're limited to 3 questions with 25 choices. The number of administrators is finite, in comparison.

...

That calls for an epic facepalm, but there is no picture in the world epic enough to use for this situation.

@dancing lady: Oh. Mkay, it's just that my post wasn't directed at you.

It's actually about 20.

It's not a case of that. If I was in one of the Admin's shoes who had 0 votes; and I had put hours of my life, that I put in because I want to help this community, the I would feel rather unappreciated wouldn't you?

Plus, just because everyone likes a certain admin, doesn't mean they do their job any better than another.

That sure is right, but I won't even dare to try interpret the results of the poll. I just want to award the one that gets most votes. Possibly all others as well, if my funds will suffice.

So, a reward for being popular? That's the single most ridiculous idea i've heard in weeks.

Just because someone is popular and has loads of followers or friends doesn't mean they're any better than another.

All of these guys give up their free time to make the server experience enjoyable for us. They're all equally great. None of us has the right to say one is better than another.
