Heraklions signatures

Hi, i've been recently struck by the "designing lighting" so i'm spending quite some time on Fireworks lately... yes fireworks... i'm to lazy to learn photoshop:Panyway, I want some peoples honest opinions on weither my creations look good or not:)Some of them barely were edited, on others I had to do some magic to make them look good :D

my first one:


the second one, and after that one I just couldn't stop making more...


the 3th. this one didn't need any edits to fit with colors and stuff.


Decided to toy around a bit with this one aswell... this is the result:


And the 4th has been quite some fun. It needed alot of edits, such as in the start the colors didn't fit (screen from Omicron Kappa) so the ship is orange... background was green. So I changed the Hue and Contrast of the space background... of course that made the asteroids blue so I had to remove them. I think the result turned out fine.

The 5th... yes I know it looks awful:P


The 6th, 5 minutes of work, pretty result


The 7th one... it took me a while to get it right but personally i'm very satisfied with the result.


The 8th one... I totally forgot about this thread :p I made a couple of these to represent the different characters that "work" on the ship.


The 9th one... Resurrected the Aquilon :3


The 10th one... Yes it's just a piece of art from the tv show "Firefly" but it looked so pretty that I couldn't resist putting it in my sig ^_^


The 11th one... My new [TAZ] sig style, i'm considering to make all of my [TAZ] sigs this way IF I can get the renders of the other ships.

Why should he learn to Photoshop? He masters Fireworks good for the Beginning. I'd say you should continue to use that Program.

Those Signatures look pretty good, and Abduzeedo even has Tutorials for Fireworks.

I like first, fourth (AFTER) and and fifth, if you cleaned it a bit. The ship, namely. The others... not so much, for reason I don't know. But I think in PS, it would look even better...:P

They really good for a beginner and photshop is only good if youre comfortable with it.
