Some intense PVP happen with the Outcast faction, people wouldn't expect much RP out of you and will generally regard you as "just another cap". Go for your destroyer if you can cope with the pressure and won't give in to the hate.
You can even start to change people's perception of cap players by having exceptional quality RP!
I'd say get a fighter and unleash the might of the Kraken... but then again I am slightly biased when it comes to such matters.
Get a Storta and be creative... Just don't fly it down to Liberty for the Rogues enjoy destroying Outcast capital ships which wander into their territory.
you can 'guard' malta, or you can head on down to 23, though, I wouldnt recommend that.
*chuckles in an evil way*
However, if you play it right, I dont doubt that there's lots of things to do with one, a destroyer can house lots of technology, research labs, and so on, lots of possibilities.
' Wrote:As for raids... talk to the official factions on both sides. Both will come up with something along the lines of "raids are OORP. That's why we have Eta" yet they never seem bother to organizing anything in Eta ;)
Only because there aren't officially announced Eta-fights it doesn't mean there aren't any. And if you want one, why not contact the other side ingame yourself instead of waiting for someone else to organize it for you? You know, some of them even speak English...
As for the topic:
I'll stay with the No I've already given in the other topic. Abilities to use it are limited, <strike>95% of all</strike> most stortas end up missionwhoring in Alpha and are turned into battleships/dreads later. Fielding it into the Taus is suicide. You will die within less than 5 minutes due to getting bomber-spammed. Chances you get a chance to RP beforehand aren't that high.
As for the PvP performance: the ship sucks. Only 2 or 4 guns can fire downwards. And it's huge compared to others.
