Connecticut Faction Tournament

Let's use that system for something good. We should have a tournament between official factions there. It would be an elimination bracket, like you use for basketball.

Since Conn is OORP, we don't have to worry about any RP alliance issues, creating no conflicts if an Order faction had to fight a Corsair one (for example).

Each match would be a simple kill the other team event. We could even film it and put it on youtube for publicity (filming a RP event for youtube won't do the job because noone wants to sit there reading the chat watching the ships do nothing for an hour then finally fight for about 5 minutes).

Misc Rules list:

1. No calling for backup
   
2. No re-engaging
   
3. No fleeing the field.
   
4. No more than 10 people per team.
   
5. Any ship types you want.
   

And for the good stuff.....

1st place team: 40m credits deposited in all participants + 1 full codename set for the leader of the team, of his choice.
2nd place team: 20m credits deposited in all participants.
3rd place team: 10m credits for all participants.
4th place team: 5m credits for all participants.

FAQ:

1. This is a RP server
Conn is not

So is Conn

3. Everyone will just bring battleships.
Not neccecarilly, tbh a bomber fighter mix could be quite effective. Also, this is not like Disco of Disco where you get enough money to choose any ship you want, you have to be able to pay for any ships you want to bring yourselves.
