Make the fighter feel more as a part of the signature background. I think it'll look better if it's a bit darker, due to the dark background, though that's just me.

:$It wasn't exactly wood. It was a wall, but I cut off a part of it to fit the signature size.

I was going to say it's awesome, but then... Then!!!! Then that little light at the left top corner flashed in front of my eyes!! :nono:

Kiddin', it's cool, I like the space theme a lot.
P.S. Also the vertical gap isn't the same as the horizontal one, not sure if it was intended or not. (Between the 4 space themes)
