Special Role Play Request Closure

Greetings.

I have just wondered, perhaps just missed it somewhere... But is it known when the SRP will be opened again, or it's simply "closed untill opened"?
If it's the first case, any idea about when?
If the second, are we talking about days, weeks, months or years?

It would be so delightfull, if the shrine of RP opened it's doors again, in those dark times when good people of this world are ruled and controlled by brutal dictatorship of the evil entity known as PvP.

Yes it's not open for indepentend individuals. You need to to find any faction leader to post your request.

Oh right. That makes sense then. I misunderstood that part a bit. Quite a few people helped me to misunderstood it, I might add.
Not that it makes much sense either way. When one goes for SRP it's usually because none of the factions fits the idea. So... we get faction leader to... post it. And of course approve it or not along the way.

That's a bit harsh way to look at it. I mean, since all the ID revamping (amongst others), you are limited to just very basic, stay-in-line RP on many occassions. That's what the SRP should be for.

Seems someone just don't like to see that some people gets what they want then they put effort into it, developing their stories, characters and such.

When one goes for SRP it's usually because none of the factions fits the idea. So... we get faction leader to... post it. And of course approve it or not along the way.

It serves as a filter, helping for admins to get rid of more work. Besides if official factions disapproves your SRP it shouldn't be allowed eitherway. See, it might have to big clash on canon rp for instance

Basically - We closed it because we wanted the current backlog to be done, sorted and allowed to breathe for a while.
There is no timeline for it reopening, if it reopens, when it reopens etc etc... It would be good to see character development without it for a while.

Of course, I get that point. Being judged by other people of your standing by what you said or did to them in past is always making one's day brighter. At that point, even admins aren't really in position to judge who's idea is good or bad. *sight* But again, it's just needed to avoid totall chaos and anarchy and I can just imagine how many requsts aim to gain PvP or any other advantage over others, rather than being able to RP in a way you'd like. I wish people had common sense, we wouldn't need that.
