Naming convention is:
OCXXXXX for Outcasts
CORXXXX for Corsairs
official factions can use their names as suffixes like they usually do
Also note that FR2 gives factions authority over indies, so factions are encouraged to lead their fleets if they wish to do so.
Restarts show up when you type /showrestarts You are advised to use restarts when docked on planet Erie, if you undock you get blasted by the LN dreadnought.
Currently these are available:
LFs, HFs, VHFs, Bombers, GBs and Camera ship
extra ship types will be added during the event, these include: Freighters, Cruisers, Repair ships, Battleships
Rules
5.2, 5.6, 5.7, 5.8 as well as 6.7 are not in place others, most notably 5.4 are!
Only ships allowed to take part in the fights are those available trough restarts.
Only OC/Corsair guard IDs are allowed.
Only own corsair/outcast faction weapons as well as those available on the ships at start are allowed, only exception are the Zoner BS Flaks.
Camera ships are only to be used for cinematography any misuse of them will be punished.
Outcasts
- start in Omicron 85
- their reputation is full green to OC guard, full red to everything else (including normal Outcasts)
Corsairs
- start in Omicron 74
- full green to Corsair Guard and Zoner Guard, full red to everything else (including normal Corsairs)
Equipment/Ships
- restart for each shiptype is provided with a wide selection of the guns, others are for sale in the system they start or in their guard system, each ship has more than enough cash to freely change loadouts. Please sell the guns you don't intend to use them o avoid too much loot in space if your ship is destroyed
- all zoner guns/ships/ids sold in O74 are blocked from sale
- all capital ships armors are be blocked from sale (so ships only use the armor they start with)
- each ship has more than enough cash to freely change loadouts
Combat area
The fight is about the Messina freeport and access to the minefield paths, any combat happening elsewhere does not help the cause of either side.
Note that during periods of very low server load NPCs can still appear and start shooting either part. Most notably there are normal OC NPCs in O-85 and normal zoner NPCs in o-74 which might cause some trouble.

Why are the corsairs staging out of O-74? The ZTC nor the ZDF, and the ZA would never allow a hostile corsair force to mass inside one of its most protected systems. Especially being that it contains our weapons reasearch facility AND one of our main shipyards.
Also, the Zoners would never take sides, or allow the thought of that to happen, in allowing the corsairs to stage from O-74.
Please tell me the logic in this.

You have obviously not listened earlier when the Dev team said this had no impact on the story or RP. They start there so that the fight and spawning points would be balanced. Its not a RP event, deal with it.
I would like to ask one thing though. Why do missiles have 100% hit? Because almost every moth****** and his dog have dual missile GB's.
