What about rep with the other Gallic factions, and the council, will they be adjusted too? If we make a trade deal with Gallia, will the council npcs start shooting at us, or will they remain neutral?
The reps are your responsibilities. OOCly we can help with it sure, if you register your faction and ask us "//Hey, Exile. You're on your GRN now right? Mind doing some missions" then it mostly won't be a problem if we're not doing much. But there won't be an auto rep hack I'm guessing.

And rules say (or was it one of Dusty's decrees?) that a faction can buy ships sold at its station no matter what the tech chart says...[/quote]
[quote= Wrote:Nope, read the Tech Chart, says that Gallic corps can use the ships involved with mining. (Hegemon, Titanic, Dacite, Basalt, Mafic)
everything else is off limits
So Gallic ID'd ships can't use Sirian Civ stuff as of yet, but it probably will change once 4.86 rolls around

Ok thanks, we are planning on a trade deal, we'll be doing some research on the reps before though; I think there are some bribes we can take too; we wouldn't want to go into gallia to find out that suddenly the whole place is red because some npc starts shooting at us. :P

Effectively immediately, Gallia is now open for trade.
a.Gallian freighters and transports can move outside Gallia.
b.Gallian faction ID'd ships (non-military, pirate or police factions) can move outside Gallia (this means that the ships in a. above can have escorts.)
c.Anyone can enter Gallia to buy or sell goods.
Time to move things forward. Make some deals. Any potential rules issues or other problems should be posted here.
Got a couple of questions noone else seems to have asked.
Reguarding the "restrictions" made in point B, this basicly elimates everything but indies? So I guess you mean (with faction permission of the GRN for example) people can now slap a Mercenary ID on a Lynx and float around sirius, escorting people to and from galia ?

Just that one for now actually...
Yes. But you would still need a permission to use the ship with this ID.

You should have thought about that before you invited trading factions to Gallia. I just screwed up my rep with the other NPC gallic factions and also got into a fight with a player faction because of king Charles' announcement

Not our problem. And besides, the decision to open up was the admins'. Not mine.

I could've imagined the results.
