That is correct, however, the problem remains with all those other caps.

I would like battleships removed entirely, but oh well, that's not going to fly.

Alternative option is to remake anti-capital-ship balance into REALLY SLOW guns unable to hit fighters, that would make caps unable to ruin snub fights.

Also, when you go on with your logic, please, remove oc and sair battleships and then a jorm, some 2 years later, to make it completely fair.

do you have a corsair ship?

CR didn't have the player base that the Sairs did... not to mention 4.85 OC pretty much out numbered all other factions.

And yeah I have Corsair ships :P


If things were so bad then Benitez and TBH wouldn't be two of the most active factions on the server.

Things are not bad in the server- both corsairs and Hessians have good numbers and there are many melees.
It is the OORP problem whitin the players outside of the server- reason that I left sair channels and renamed my ships a while ago.

The idea about Battleships being limited to only jumping with jumpdrives was actually a pretty decent suggestion. Makes realistic sense and still allows everyone and anyone to own one but necessitates the need for fellow players to help you jump to your destination.

Has my vote for what it's worth.

The House Navys have there advatage... the ultimate killing machines the BSs. Pirates have theres...the asteroid fields. Me and one other Bomber took down a Osiris in an asteroid field. BSs cant stand for long in Asteroid fields. That way you will even reduce invasions on the capital planets of the 4...I mean 5 major houses by pirates.
+why not add a better range scanners to pirates(this idea is rly stupit though)

I liked that idea too, but nothing can be done bedore the Jump Drives come to use.

Interesting enough I see both sides trying to amend this observation you point out yet I see one person trying to fuel it. I'd hardly place all the blame of the Osiris nerf on Blodo :laugh:

That's not true until some kind of HUGE ramming damage from asteroids get implemented. Right now, asteroids only help caps smaller than battleship, and don't really hurt the battleships. I mean, really, as long as you need 2+ people to down a ship, the other size has an advantage, you might want to remember what omegas looked before 4.86.
