First off, sorry for taking so long to reply. I've had a lot on my plate recently. Your payment has been received and your balance now stands at fifty of the eighty million paid.

As we discussed over the radio last time, I got into a stoush with an Order cruiser of all things. Popped up in the Sigma-13 debris field that Yanagi is situated in. And then he just plain popped.

As for patrols... I can only send you information on patrol details I'm previewed to. Which isn't very many. But it's better than flying completely blind.

Been a while since I last used this thing... always easier to talk face-to-face but sometimes it just isn't possible.

Jack, I'll set to work on securing some equipment for that ship of yours. And a service, too. Lord knows what the poor thing's been through.

I just need you to send a reply back so I know you can use the system. It's not difficult once you know how it goes together but it can be confusing for the layman the first time.

Tah,

-Eva McDowell.

I know what you mean about talking face to face, Eva, but being a deserter trying to hide from the law is a hard job. As is being a ship’s Captain transporting goods to and from destinations.

Thanks for sorting out a ship so fast Eva, it’s a real beauty, it may be a lot older than what I’m used to flying but boy does have some real power coming from that engine! As I said when we first met, I supplied my own crew, only a small crew but then again its only a small ship.

As for the ships equipment you secured for me, it’s been all equipped and the ship is ready to go once the service of the Cargo Bay Doors is complete. The doors were a bit stiff when opening before, we think we’ve fixed that by putting a new bearing into the mechanism, should stop them falling off with no notice... Oh and we found some dead rodents in the cooling system, how they got there is still unclear to us. Overall the Bactrian is a very sturdy and well built ship, I am looking forward to taking it on its test run tomorrow.

For everything you have done for me, Eva, I thank you! I don’t think anyone else would have done the same if it was them in your shoes, you saved me from either a life sentence on Vierlande or a Firing Squad, either way I have you to thank. It looks like I am truly in debt to you, if there is anything I can do for you just say.

Thanks,
Jack

First outing in my Bactrian today, a fine little ship! Nothing went wrong and the cargo bay doors held steady as we went hurtling through the lanes from New York to New Berlin. Pretty good little run, when I make enough credits I’ll purchase a larger ship if that is fine with you, Miss McDowell?

Changing sides and working for the “unlawfuls” was quite a strange prospect at first, but after this time I am really starting to understand why people do it, its exhilarating running through the blockade in Texas, far more exciting than, well, being in combat where your force has over double the manpower. It gets my heart pumping each time I even see a lawful, its purely brilliant!

I do, regretfully, however have one slight thing that troubles me, many of the people on Rochester have been treating me as an outcast, in the bar everyone stares at me as I walk in and I have to sit alone in the corner, it is apparent that they saw the advertisements about joining the National Guard on the Neural Net some time ago when I ran it, my face was clearly shown. I fear that someone will take action against the fact that I was a Naval Officer and try to end my life, I am prepared for the worst but do not want this to jeopardise your relations with the people there, if anyone has any trouble with me working for you I will leave at the shortest of notices and take my Guardian, which I hope is still in storage, and surrender to the Rheinland Military, such as my original plan.

I can’t thank you enough for letting me work for you rather than facing a bullet.
Thanks,

Jack

I hope the crew of the Tiesto isn't too pissed that I ditched them... But knowing them they're probably already thinking of the next big money-maker anyways.
I just thought I'd let you know I'm heading to Kusari.
Yeah I know, not the best place for someone in our... profession to go, but I need to find Katherine.
I won't be taking any Company assests, I'm going to pick up some sort of CTE class, maybe a Griffin, for my trip.

I don't know when I'll be back...

But I'm not coming back without her.

I'll try to keep in touch.

Best of luck to you Malcom, and don't worry about your crew, I've found them work elsewhere in the company. I'll keep your seat warm for when the two of you come back, don't worry about that.

If you need help don't hesitate to contact me or any of the others in the fleet. We look after each other.

And for you Jack. While some people will dislike you for obvious and justified reasons, you'll have protection under my name so long as you work for me. Eventually people will forget Jack Murdoch the Navy man and start to recognise Jack Murdoch the no-good-nick Junker. Your Guardian is locked up under cover somewhere secure and won't ever see the light of day unless at your own request.

Stay frosty out there boys. I don't wanna see your arses in the obituary or on the roster of Sugarland because you were looking through those magazines you keep under your mattresses.

Eva,

First I would like to thank you for helping me. I hope my father doesn’t find me anytime soon. If he does, I can count on you to help me again I am sure, but with any luck he won’t find me. I will one day repay him for what he did to my mother….one day.

I do hope that my being here isn’t too much of a burden on you and your boys. I’ve enjoyed it so far, and I intend to stay, after all, the new Starblazer is working quite better then that CSV you found me in. It’s combat ready, probably the best dressed Starblazer is all of Sirus..no joke. And I have you to thank for it..

Hopefully one day you can teach me how to fly one of those big transport like ships, so I can help somehow.

- Rachel

Being able to disappear with ease is a trademark of a good Junker. I'll be making sure you drop off the radar without anyone ever knowing you existed.

Believe me when I say you being here is not a burden. I appreciate having someone new to talk to who isn't interested in bedding half my crew. We have on my side my all-female staff and then... "the boys". They're all great blokes but some of them really need a girlfriend who isn't mine.

That little Blazer will treat you well if you treat it well. So look after it and it'll serve you for many years to come. They aren't flashy and that's the best part about them. You'll blend in with the background.

As for flying something bigger... We'll get you some lessons on one of my ships ASAP. The sooner you get something to haul with the sooner you become independent. It's not all that hard as long as you know what the buttons do. Hell, I'll even chuck you a lovely assistant if you want. I have some of Walkers' crew floating around on idle.

Again, I thank you for helping me. It'€™s been wonderful flying with you so far.

I umm'€¦stumbled into a ship while on Rochester. A Junker there didn'€™t think a 19 year old '€œprincess'€ could fire a gun worth squat, and he put his ship on the line in a bet. Little did he know that my father, though the bastard that he is, taught me how to fire guns from a young age.

So, now I'€™ve got this new'€¦.*Looks at the ship registration for the name of the ship*..umm.. Pirate Transport? Don'€™t know, that'€™s what the paper says. I think I am going to need those flying lessons sometime soon, if I am going to fly it anytime at all. I do hope you, or someone else on your crew can help! I'€™ll attach photo'€™s of it, oh, and I'€™ve gone through the liberty of renaming it M.C.F-Scrapyard. It looked fitting for how it looks.

-Rachel
