Well, it is only really badly visible on the Dread-engine afaik. I haven't flown a Liberty Carrier for ... months now, and back then I only tested it a bit and took the light screenshots.

Having the effect on the cruiser would be nice too I think. About smaller ships, mh...fighters don't need it. Gunboats, not sure. Actually I don't know what engine effect they have anyway, could be, that they have the same as cruisers? Really, no idea at the moment.

EDIT:
Mh...Looks kinda like the effect is the same on the GB and the cruiser. Wouldn't changing one mean it also changes the other?!

I also dislike the Osiris engine, the liberty ones are better in my opinion .

Not for .86 im afraid folks.

BUT! i am slowly but surely working on revamping all effects for Freelancer. This time round only Class 9 fighter weapons and battleships got a revamp.

Next update - Cruiser + GB weapons and hopefully i will make some new engine effects to be used here and there.

I wont be redoing all engine effects though. Some are nice as they are. a note i would like to make

Fancy isnt always better! (smoke)

thank you goodbye

Well think it this way. The Osiris has different engine - different effect.
Liberty Dreadnought has different engine - different effect.

I hope you are not trying to tell us that these two ships are exactly the same... If yes...I suggest you go play storyline once again and listen to all dialogs concerning the development of Osiris. There it is explained that Osiris is VERY different from the Liberty Dreadnought.

It was meant to look like that, the FL developers made it like that with a reason. To show that the Osiris is different in few ways.

As I said, this is only secondary, nothing which requires immediate attention.

And for those saying the Osiris and Dread engines are different, I don't think you are getting what I mean.
