I DLed BiniLite, unpacked the mouse.ini, changed the lines as said, saved the file, launched the game, noticed my mouse disappeared on the main menu, changed the file back to its original content, noticed the game wouldn't start anymore, so I had to ask someone for his unmodified mouse.ini and reboot my computer to make the game work again.

Most strange. If you want to try my mouse.ini I'd be willing to send it to you. It's definitely running on my system.

I choose the bluest of blue colors though:

I didn't use BiniLite to change the ini. Just the normal Bini.exe and Unbini.exe. People who used BiniLite say something about "game won't run any more", while my own mouse.ini runs smoothly on Veygaars machine. And no, only the color-change was approved. Other changes might get you into trouble if they'd enhance your fighting ability over other's.

I got this when I open the file, tried with notepad ++ does not work, I have no problem using the notepad to open and modify other ini files, hud shift for example., I would be extremely happy someone upload the modded one with blue effect. It might make my really bad aim a bit better. If you change the colour only it should be legal as the hud you dont change the basic game features so you dont have any bonus over the unmodded FL.

What if i actually want to disable it completely? Set hotspot to 0, so it doesn't drag my mouse cursor at all?
