So which official factions want an indie cruiser RPing a base?

So I have some credits lying around and have decided on getting some sort of cruiser. I can't decide which faction to go with then. So if any official factions want someone in one of their cruisers (or an allies they have access to) flying around and RPing as a base in one system, give me a shout. I'll give the account code for it to the official faction leader aswell, so they can access it for whatever.

I've rushed this post.

Thanks, but I don't think IMG is a very good choice for me. I don't have enough credits for a battlecruiser (I'd only give this cruiser an AU VIII anyway because it's not for PVP) and that faction doesn't really appeal to me.

Sorry, I'm not really interested in joining any player factions. And I was hoping to get the capital ship RP experience, acting as a base and just staying in one particular system to role-play in.

I think you should get a LABC. That ship isn't flown nearly enough and it would help what with the empty nature of Liberty, especially New York system.

A well RP'd Liberty warship is never a bad thing. There are plenty of them that are not well RP'd, so a good example would probably be welcome. That's most likely the case in all the house military groups. The Zoners are another possible option I can think of.

Others that come to mind would be the BHG, the GMG if you can get access to a cruiser, GRP, and the Blood Dragons.

I had a bit of fun having a Blood Dragon cruiser for a while.. I RP'd it quite well I thought, was a blast.

What I normally would do is just patrol Sigma-13 for any hostiles, just shouting to system what I was doing. I even had the honor to tango with The Necrosis at one point, though I had not much success there.:P

"This is Blood Dragon 2nd Fleet Flagship Marigold to all pilots, assuming patrol. Crew, proceed to the first waypoint at full power!"

"Crewman: We've reached the first waypoint, sir! Commander: Proceed to the second waypoint. Stay sharp men.."


With the Necrosis...

"Commander: All crew, there appears to be an unknown on radar. Switch to yellow alert status, be ready for anything.."

"Necrosis: Well now, it seems I shall have some Blood Dragons to feast upon!"

"Crewman: Sir, hostile contact is approaching fast! Commander: All crew, to arms! Man your battlestations, we've an unknown closing in on us, prepare the Nimbus!"

*During the fight* "Crewman: Nimbus ready to fire. Engineer: Ready to launch. Commander: Nimbus, Launch! *Fires Nimbus missile*

Ahh yes, had a few good times with that thing... Unfortunately, for the most part, I never ran into anyone with it, hence I scrapped it...


But, enough of the wall of text, that was just an example of how to RP a cruiser, thought it may help for when you do pick one up.
