A friend saw my sig and wanted one of her own.
I've refined the idea, and this one came out looking a lot better, methinks.

I think it is not finished, and pretty awful to be honest. Needs alot more time
and effort put into it. You need to remove the background layer, and add a
drop shadow to the smoke so it would look like its floating on the page.
Then erase out the straight edges, with the eraser and a soft basic brush at 100 px
with an opacity of 34.

I don't know what your talking about, but it looks awesome as it is. Maybe you can show Smokey what to do.

But thanks for your advice, I'll try to do the things you said. Although it does seem complicated xD
I just basically did some effect on the text and put in a few brushes, then texturized it.

I am by no means an expert at sig making. I just made this because I had fun while making it. And I quite like it.

I'd say keep the dark background. If you want to go transparent you'd have to make the smoke in a different colour which is easier to see. Also, an interesting border would be nice.
