I think the worst part of it is the whitespace around the girl but I can't figure out a way to get rid of it. If someone can fix it I'd be really grateful ^^

You have to cut it out using the lasso tool. - I would use the Polygon Lasso tool, its easier.

Its good though, Not to extreme, Except the ship doesn't really fit. But thats all in good time

Resized and I used a cool tool to bring out her colors. Got rid of most white-space as well.
