Capitaine Fabien Duval
[color=#99DDEE]Bonjour.
Today I received a distress call coming from a civilian inside the Dauphine system, apparently a member of the Legion des Damnes had intercepted the pilot on its way towards Briancon Station. When I arrived at the scene the Brigand was already busy shooting the civilian, I didn't waste any seconds trying to reason with a murderer.
During the small skirmish I was assisted by a mercenary named Percy, a skillfull pilot who could prove to be very resourceful for the Gallic Royal Navy in the future. Two more members of the Legion des Damnes, a fighter and a gunboat, arrived to reinforce the enemy. However, our combined firepower proved to be the end of these criminals.

Bonjour officiers,
This day became quite strange a few hours ago. I was on a patrol with a few aspirants of the academy when we detected an unidentified contact called Seraph. After switching to the sirian frequencies the ship appeared to be an Order Nephtys. I have immediatly engaged the chase and ordered the aspirants to move to the closest GRN installation (the Battleship Beuvray). The target fleed to a jump hole anomaly leading to the Champagne system.
I decided to follow him and resumed the chase untill he cut his engines. He began to talk and I recognized the voice of a man I heard a few hours ago on the system frequency of Burgundy.
This one seem to be intelligent, so rather than shooting him I began to discuss with him and managed to question him at the same time without he noticed I think. As we continued to discuss, I learned many interesting things, apparently he is known as "Dangen" (contacted the junkers to get as many informations possible on him), a fugitive commodore of the Order and at the same time a scientific experiment. It has been pretty easy to manipulate him by acting like a poor emotional woman, I'm pretty sure there's a lot of useful informations that we could get from him.
It seems he has a passion for snow, he decided to go to Vouziers and I followed him. He's been quite impressive considering he's been able to sneak between all the radars of the council in Champagne and reach the planet undetected. I have kept the navigation coordinates of this weakness and it could be useful to launch a surprise attack on the forces near the Jump Gate to Burgundy.
On the planet, we've walked in the snow for a while and continued to talk untill he "smelled" something in the air. It didn't take long to find out, we've found 4 GRN Lynx recently crashed surrounded by outcast pilots.
Myself and Dangen initiated a successful attack on the Outcast forces, Dangen at the sniping and me at the assault with one of the new Solar Engineering Prototype Assault Rifle. I had doubts on the use of the Sonic Grenade Launcher add-on at first, and it proved to be extremely useful. It seems our standard assault suits are isolated enough to keep us safe from sonic detonations, but the outcast suits doesn't provide any protection to sonic devices and I pretty much stunned them all with one grenade.
Our 4 pilots are alive, although one of them has been badly wounded and is currently under surgery on the Battleship Rocroi.
I've let Dangen go for the moment, I'm trying to understand how he works and he's pretty complicated... but I know that it's worth the try. I don't understand what he's trying to find in Gallia, it seems he has a few relations inside the council but refuse to take a side in the Gallic War and transfered me two GRP pilots and one GRN pilot he had in his cargo hold.
Hmm... A sirian... a fugitive... and the only place he choose is the worse place to be for a sirian... he's hiding something. I think I could use this to... Oh wait this thing is still online ?
Today, as I was conducting minor electronic tests and simulations aboard the Acre directly outside Dijon Station, a very strange thing happened. What appeared at first to be a Royal Navy pilot approached my ship and began attempting to give orders, he claimed he was on some sort of mission directly under the command of the King, which is, of course, completely ridiculous. But that was not the end of it, he even claimed to be related to the King!
I naturally presumed he was delusional, and contacted Dijon to have him removed from his post. However, before an escort could be arranged to take him into custody, he opened fire upon the station, proving, at least in my mind, that he was not delusional, but a Council spy (and a rather bad one at that).
I shall attach a comms recording to this transmission, detailing the conversation.
Quote:[font=Times New Roman][color=#FFFFFF] Log commences from when the traitor opened fire upon the RNS Acre
[color=#00CCCC]
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: Pilot, I would not advise firing on my ship...
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: Or I shall give the order to return fire
Ile-de-France: hahahahahaha ermm im not lowering the sheilds so does it matter
GRN|Michelle.Picard: I disagree, you are firing on a Royal Battleship, ofcourse that matters!
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: It does not matter whether or not you are lowering my shields, you will not fire upon my ship
Ile-de-France: if its ur ship how are you flyinh it
Ile-de-France: leaving it without a captain on board can be a big mistake
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: Firing upon a ship of His Majesties Navy is equivalent to an assault upon the King himself, and as such is treason
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: And punished by death
Ile-de-France: meh
GRN|Michelle.Picard: How the hell did this guy pass the academy...
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: I do not know... sometimes fools slip through the system I assume...
Ile-de-France: im the best captain this system has ever produced
GRN|Michelle.Picard: Ile de France, I suggest you resume your duty, before you do more stupid things
Ile-de-France: my duty is the watch you
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: Somehow, your behaviour is not reflecting that fact, if it is at all true, which I somehow doubt it is
Ile-de-France: direct orders from the king
GRN|Michelle.Picard: *static*, go lie to someone else. Get out of our sight
Ile-de-France: im not lying commander
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: No, your orders come from High Command
Ile-de-France: no my orders are from the king
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: I doubt that very much
GRN|Michelle.Picard: Then you are a traitor, because it can't the our King
GRN|Michelle.Picard: Who do you serve, the truth!
Ile-de-France: well tough i have orders to watch you and your part of the navy for curroption
GRN|Michelle.Picard: Corruption, in the Royal Navy? Don't be a fool
Ile-de-France: im only doing as told
GRN|Michelle.Picard: *sighs*
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: Well you will be doing no such thing, especially not on my ship
Ile-de-France: ive sen afew GRN pilot do it
Ile-de-France: soo im taking no chances with you guys
Ile-de-France: acre is that a threat to a officer of the king?
GRN|Michelle.Picard: How dare you to question a commanders' integrity
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: I think you'll find that as a higher ranking officer, that is not a threat, but an order
Ile-de-France: how dare you to question direct orders from the king himself
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: You will stay off my ship
GRN|Michelle.Picard: You, a fool who barely made it into the reserve fleet, probably by cheating
Ile-de-France: haha im in the primary fleet not your little section
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: Should you even attempt to board my ship, you will be executed by my Marines
Ile-de-France: that would be treason
GRN|Michelle.Picard: It is impossible that our King would assign someone like you for such a job. At least not our king
Ile-de-France: i got the commands from my commander who contacts the king on a monthly intiful for report
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: No, disobeying the orders of a higher ranking officer is treason
Ile-de-France: what is ur rank then
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: And as you seem to be a mere Flight Lieutenant, you will find that I outrank you
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: You do not question me, pilot
Ile-de-France: no i am not a flight Lt i am a Commadore on specail ops
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: Eh? What rank is that exactly?
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: Perhaps you are a Council spy...
Ile-de-France: related to the king himself cusion 3rd removed
Ile-de-France: rank above captain
GRN|Michelle.Picard: I have a very good knowledge of the kings bloodline. I am very sure that you are not related. Not to our king.
Ile-de-France: i was kept secret untill afew weeks ago when the concil invaded my home
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: *laughs*
GRN|Michelle.Picard: Thats it. You are hereby charged for treason. Requesting permission to execute him right now sir.
Ile-de-France: i might put ur ship at the front when we invade the tau secoter so i can see it get blown up
GRN|Michelle.Picard: Shooting Royal Battleships, AND shooting other officers of the Royal Navy, how dare you
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: *laughs* That is not your decision I'm afraid
Ile-de-France: testing my weapons its allowed
Ile-de-France: oh but i can make it happen
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: No, you cant
GRN|Michelle.Picard: Then get someone here who can make that decision! This is outrageous!
Ile-de-France: no this is me directing orders apon little brats who need to go back to bootcamp
GRN|Michelle.Picard: You don't test your weapons on other ships pilot. Rule no.1 in my flight manual
GRN|Michelle.Picard: Now you are insulting us too? Don't make me angry
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: Well, I'm just glad that peasants like you will never be able to attain such rank as to hold any influence
At this point, the Dijon Station defense systems opened fire upon the traitor.
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: Ah, I see the traitor has been exposed for who he truly is...
Ile-de-France: just testing the station weapon systems
Ile-de-France: afterall we dont want to loose Dijon
GRN|Michelle.Picard: They have regular checks, I'm sure you don't have to fire on the station to test that
Ile-de-France: i didnt fire
Ile-de-France: i set its commands
GRN|Michelle.Picard: To fire on you? *laughs*
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: No, you fired upon the station hull
GRN|Michelle.Picard: What an idiot. How many laws did he just violate?
Ile-de-France: officer i will have ur head by the end of the war i will make sure of it legally *winks*
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: Oh? Is that threatening a superior officer I hear?
Ile-de-France: no warning
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: Well, I guess that proves it...
GRN|RNS-Acre: Jacques: I shall inform the Madame Grand Marshall of this, I wonder how long it will take before you are executed...

Bonjour,
Today I received an emergency transmission coming from Languedoc. The Temeraire's scanners detected a Sirian ship bearing the transponder of the Bounty Hunters Guild. I was ordered to find such vessel, so I flew behind the Council defense lines with two pilots of our the Secondary Fleet. We also encountered a Council agent, as well as another Sirian ship.
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: You there! Giroux! Find that Sirian, that we no longer suffer this pathetic drivel.
GRN|Aubert.Giroux: Oui!
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Actually, all of you, fan out and search for this... "bounty hunter"...
GRN|Aubert.Giroux: But, what should I do if that Sirian is flying a wreck bigger than mine?
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Do not engage, then. Tell me where he is, and I shall bring my ship to him.
GRN|Aubert.Giroux: Oui, sir!
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: I believe the Guild vessel is a battlecruiser or battleship. Council also has some small ship nearby.
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Have you located them?
GRN|Aubert.Giroux: Unknown vessel spotted. Bearing 'Order' transponder
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Just down the lane?
GRN|Aubert.Giroux: It moved to Nimes
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: It is a secondary priority. Find the Guild vessel first.
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: I do not intend to allow it to escape after making such insults.
GRN|Aubert.Giroux: Council vessel spotted in Nimes.
Finally, we spotted the Hunter vessel near Montpellier Guard Station. After reporting the situation to the Temeraire, we were ordered to distract the Sirian ship until the 'heavy artillery' came.
GRN|Aubert.Giroux: I have him!
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Location?
GRN|Aubert.Giroux: Montpellier station!
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Keep him from running. I am on my way.
Pierre.Siponak: We could try and distract it...
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Keep him from leaving the system, by whatever means necessary.
GRN|Aubert.Giroux: Prepare the disruptors
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: What do you want, Gallic Navy ? I do not have any tolerance for corrupt naval officers, so just get outta my face, will ya
Pierre.Siponak: Orders are to fire upon the intruder.
Pierre.Siponak: Going in.
Pierre.Siponak: For the crown!
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Council's defenses here are quite strong... I will be cruising there, the lanes are too well guarded.
Finally, the Temeraire arrived...
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: You should have listened the first time, Sirian. Now your life is mine.
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: Thats what you think...
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Prepare to die, mongrel. For Gallia! Vive le roi!
But the Hunter vessel docked in Montpellier. Seems the Council have granted them access to their facilities.
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Hiding beneath Council's skirts? So brave.
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Come now. We have better things to do than deal with this trash.
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: Fortunately the Council has let us utilize their facilities, while we conduct our mapping of these border systems.
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: And there is nothing you or your king can do, to prevent the Guild from continuing our mapping of these border regions.
ID: Bruce Montague, Marechal, Master of the Border Guard, Margrave d'Burgundy ENREGISTREMENT: GRN-1231-48-B ORIGINE: Battleship Temeraire DESTINATION: Sieges Sociaux, Royaux de Marine CHIFFRAGE: Securite-S
[COMMENCEZ LE PLAYBACK] This is Bruce Montague, Marechal, Master of the Border Guard, Margrave d'Burgundy, reporting on an engagement with Sirian forces. It is the 31st of August, 734 A.G.S.
Our scouts in Languedoc reported the presence of a large, heavy capital craft not consistent with Council vessels. Assuming it to be a Sirian warship, I took the Temeraire in for a look. It is best to know who can put warships in our sovereign space before they attempt to attack us, that we might squash them like gnats more efficiently. Upon arriving in Languedoc, I stated my name and rank, and ordered all Sirian vessels to leave. Council responded by raising the alarm... I believe I have made an impression on them before. The Sirian vessel broadcasted an offer to the Council forces, calling himself a member of the Bounty Hunters Guild. I informed them this was a mistake, and warned their commander once again to leave peacefully. He responded with a series of insults, besmirching our beloved King and my own family. This cannot be tolerated.
Several other ships were off patrol, and I summoned them to scout for the Sirian craft. They found him near Montpelier Guard Station, and I took my vessel there to teach him a lesson in respect. However, before I could fire more than a few shots, he took refuge under the armored docking ports of the station, claiming that Council had given docking rights to his Guild.
Below follows the comm logs:
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: This is Marshal Bruce Montague, Master of the Border Guard and Margrave Burgundy.
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: All Sirian vessels, you have this one and only warning- leave now, or be destroyed.
[C]-Alexander.Du-Lac:: Quillan Control, this is Colonel Du Lac, ready all bomber and fighter wings, raise general alert status.
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: Council ships, do you wish to hire the Guild for added support ?
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: Council, your transmission has been noted, and will be forwarded to GCHQ. Good luck.
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Sirian, working with Council is a mistake you do not want to make. You cannot hope to oppose us and live.
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Leave now, and you shall be spared.
[C]-Alexander.Du-Lac:: Margrave, perhaps you should not make threats you cannot keep.
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: Gallic Navy, Contact your HQ, and let them continue talks with The Guild HQ. Do not fire upon any Hunter vessels, or you
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: you will regret it.
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: You dare to threaten me, Sirian?
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: You know you cannot hope to survive, Council wretch. Why do you drag them into this?
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: This was not a threat, Gallic Navy. This was stating the fact. Something a Naval Academy educated person ought to realize
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: When the day comes that the Dauphine armada sweeps through this system, our victory is foretold.
[C]-Alexander.Du-Lac:: We drag no one into anything, yet we have resisted you and the Crown long enough.
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: Or did you receive your commison because your mother was letting your king utilize her marmaries for his coffee ?
[C]-Alexander.Du-Lac:: Okay.....that was a little more Vulgar than I'd care to hear....
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: My family is only noble now because I took it there by my hand, and mine alone.
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: I am not the same kind of brown-nosed nobody that plagues New Paris. I am a warrior.
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: So what you are saying, Gallic Navy... You used your hands on various body parts of your king ? That was too much info
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Watch your tongue, mongrel.
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: *laughs* Don't worry. My tongue won't be coming anywhere near your body.. Or your kings. I like it isnt brown.
Pierre.Siponak: How much of them are about anyways?
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: I believe the Guild vessel is a battlecruiser or battleship. Council also has some small ship nearby.
GRN|Aubert.Giroux: Who... are... you?
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Have you located them?
GRN|Aubert.Giroux: Unknown vessel spotted. Bearing 'Order' transponder

GRN|Aubert.Giroux: We're under fire!
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: You should have listened the first time, Sirian. Now your life is mine.
[C]-Alexander.Du-Lac:: Quillan Control, high alert, repeat, high alert!
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: Thats what you think...
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Prepare to die, mongrel. For Gallia! Vive le roi!
At this point, the vessel fled to the cover of Montpelier.
GRN|RNS-Temeraire: Go home, Council wretch.
BHG|Core-Millers_Stout: And there is nothing you or your king can do, to prevent the Guild from continuing our mapping of these border regions.
[C]-Alexander.Du-Lac:: All civilian shipping is to remain grounded - high alert status maintained.
These "bounty hunters" appear more like a professional (however uncivilized) military force than a security company. I have since reviewed my ship's flight data, and from her majesty Princess Aurelia's reports, I believe the vessel I encountered to be a "Mako" class battleship. This is somewhat surprising, since the reports of our spies in the Sirian houses report no such warships being possessed by the Bounty Hunters Guild, much less any record of an organized military. The Princess' reports indicate they have some presence in the outer colonies, though- perhaps it would be in our best interests to send spies farther afield to gather intel on this force. Though their vessels are light and flimsy, I would prefer to count them amongst the enemies we understand than those of whom we have only rumors.
In the mean time, I suggest that as collaborators to Council, we destroy their vessels on sight and interrogate any survivors. Sirius must know that working with Council is not to be tolerated.
For King and Country!

Bonjour,
My patrol started at the Beuvray, from where I moved to Nevers, to make sure that it and its surrounding are safe. The next part of the patrol was the Dauphine System, which has been done without any interruptions. When I was moving back to Burgundy, my Scanners showed an unknown contact in a distance that made it impossible to track the origin of the signal. I tried to search for the signal a longer time, but I was not able to spot it again, maybe it was a scanner problem, the dock workers are checking the scanners right now.
I have been able to capture some hostile pilots, which may be used for interrogation, or a public execution, whatever appears to be more fitting.

Bonjour,
Shortly after my departure at the Beuvray I picked up long range chat, it appears that the ships, were broadcasting over the whole system. After I responded they were talking about wierd things, mostly consisting of lies. They were talking about meetings with me, which never happened and something about me being a terrorist. I believed no word of those lies. It appears as if they just tried to destabilize my will. While they tried to convince me of the truth of their lies, a Maquis appeared on my scanners. After a short fight the Maquis used some kind of an Ion storm anomaly to escape.
The brigands, which closed in while I was fighting the terrorist were the next targets once the Maquis dissapeared. One vessel was destroyed, the other ones turned back. Unfortunatelly they kept calling Maquis and Council reeinforcements, that even if they were rookie pilots, bought them enough time to escape.

Exactly as scheduled, I launched from Dijon station at precisely 18.00SMT for a patrol around Burgundy. At the RNS Rocroi, I encountered a fresh recruit. I offered him my assistance with his final tests to get his offical Navy License, but he declined my offer. 5 minutes behind schedule, Lieutenant Mimieux joined me for the patrol. While we were in the lane heading for Dijon station, our scanners picked up a council ship at 18.10, around 10K from our position. We immediatly headed back to investigate. Unfortunatly, we couldn't find the scum although we did pick up some radio transmissions. We made sure that our installations were safe, before heading to the Champagne Gate.
Burgundy was nice and calm, so we decided to guard the entrance from burgundy, in case the Council attemped something stupid. Reserve fleet member Frank Renard joined us on the way there. Apart from some light attacks, nothing special happened. At exactly 18.30, as scheduled, I docked with the RNS Rocroi and ended my patrol
