They remind me on alien organisams
that float in green nebulas in omicrons.

Those 'dots' are the byproduct of an old holoprojecting device.

As a more practical explanation they are needed there to provide a backdrop what's ensuring that no layers fade away in different forum-backgrounds. Using semi-opacity works on dark ones like Blue Solution, but awful on IBP default and others. Also they look better than a flat surface.

I'm using Apophysis for the fractals. You can definitely do more with the program than I do for my sigs but it's enough for me to mutate a few existing fractals and change their colours a bit.

EDIT: I should mention that the program is freeware, just in case if anyone is reluctant to click the link.:P
